  • They need to hurry up and go onback to the studio and make another album. They sound realgood. We grown folks need it.

  • The search is over.Thank you. I used to play this song to death.

  • "NO PLACE THAT I WOULD RATHER

    BE"

  • i Loved change and this song is one of my favourite's. It's so wistful and melancholy and sounds like a summer love fading. It really made an impact on me back in 1982 and that has stayed. For me the first two albums were the best and are flawless. This one is also a wonderul LP Let's Go Together from 1985 is another fabulous cut and an alltime favourite too. Many thanks for this beauty. x

  • THE BEST EVER

  • Thank you ArchieGe! I've been trying to find this song for nearly three decades. I was a sophomore in high school back in 82 when this song came. Just don't hear anything like this anymore. Much respect to you ArchieGe.

  • the voice of MR JAMES CRAB ROBINSON Much love from Mount Vernon N,Y, to Springvalley N.Y.

  • THIS IS OLD SCHOOL FOR DAYS! IT TAKES ME WAY BACK I LOVE IT,,

  • From the third album of Change "Sharing your love" 1982

The second and final album that featured lead vocalist James Robinson. Change continued scoring hits with "The Very Best in You," while the up-tempo tunes clicked in the clubs and the slow songs got urban contemporary airplay. The group had toured successfully in 1981 and that momentum continued into 1982

Producers were Mauro Malavasi David Romani & Jacques Fred Petrus

  • I remember listening to CHANGE on my parents Gerrard record player. I love that it was recorded in Italy and Luther was back up vocals.

  • I have been a fan of Change for years .. yet I somehow missed this tune!!! Guess I was jammin' too much on that FUNK. This is BEA-U-TI-FUL!!!! I Love it!!! Thanks for posting!!!!

  • Change is like a uniting brother...Love and peace everybody!

  • Man Thank God for Youtube-otherwise stuff like this would be lost. Singers like James Robinson, Kleer, Mic Murphy are timeless. If they started out today, everyone would know them, they knew how to SANG!!!!!!!

  • @jeffjazzy73 amen bro w. gillin fantasy disco !

  • This is one of the best songs that I ever heard in my life.Everything is just perfect here.Lyrics. production. harmony. Just perfect. Fantastic.

  • Beautiful song and the second best by Change - my favorite is Heaven of My Life. Thanks for uploading this song. It brings great memories!

  • This song has always been one of my favorites for this sensational R&B group from the 80's. It gets much play time now...atleast with me it does!! Sultry, sexy and sentimental songs with soft cords and smooth rhythm tracks with meaning need to be resurrected.

  • @kgreen1964

Hey there! I've been trying to find the mp3 for this song for years. Do you have it Sharing Your Love is one of my all time favorite songs! Please help if you have the song in mp3 version.

  • From the era of multiple group members. Damn...even after all this time, this song still hits it out the park for me. Nice memories.

  • uhh, luther was never in the group change, because the first change lp was a production team venture. he was brought in as a session vocalist. technically there was no "group" called "CHANGE" like the village peoples 1st lp which was valeris simpson of ashford & simpson bro ray simpson on lead. luther sang lead on searching, the glow of luv (my favorite club record of alltime), backfground on the rest, jocelyn "brown" (then shaw) sang lead on "girls affair" & "angel," luv's holiday was choral

  • @ArchieGe Did Change do a song called Cherish? I'm not talking about Kool and the Gang.. this one had the lyrics " And you should cherish, cherish my love". Please someone remember it!

  • @derekeskelson HOLD TIGHT WAS & IS ONE BAD ASS TUNE & OF COURSE THEY REMOVED THAT JOINT. ITS COOL TOO SEE OTHERS RECALL & CHERISH CLASSIC SOULFUL DANCE TRACKS FROM BACK IN THE DAY.

  • This is what I'm talking about!!

  • This is truly GREAT music ! Thanks YouTube !

  • sublime....

  • thank you Archiege for this tune in you tube ! so cool and so change !! Mister Robinson the leader voice has a very good voice ! such Luther Vandross ! Change is the best funk band from my childhood ! Always change in my head !

  • I've purchased this several times through E-Bay and the quality was terrible. Can someone tell me where to get a good copy. I love this album and wish they would make a CD.

  • I agree 100%; Change was a very underrated group, before and after Luther. They were my favorite group back in the 80's, I use to burn a hole in the record listening to this song. After so many years I still have the album, I still remember all the words to Sharing your Love. This album came out right after Luther left the group to do his solo thing, they had so much success with him that they went out and got a lead singer that almost sounds like him, they didnt want to lose the sound.

  • Actually this is the third album from Change. The second featuring James "Crabs" Robinson as the lead vocalist. Luther left after the first album. He did do some backing vocals on the second album "Miracles" though, but Luther's solo career was launched more around the time of "Miracles," not this album. When This album came out, Luther's First album ( or second if you want to count the album with the group Luther), was already out.

  • Actually luther wanted to do lead vocals on the second album"Miracles",but jacques petrus told him no.Luther wanted a percentage of the record sales, and his name on the album as guest vocalist.Jacques has a very militant type of mentality, and in anger told luther no.Bad decision, althoigh the second album is quite good actually.

  • This is a beautiful song!!!!!!!!! I have it on vinyl....

  • i look like that dude on the left hand side in the glasses... tan suit and tie and all haha...

  • Wow. Great music.

  • one of my best song from this funky group ! According to me Change is the best from eighties years ! I remember when I was twelve years old and I listened this song in my first walkman it was so great and so very cool ... I miss you CHANGE...Forever in my spirit as Luther Vandross

  • Change was, in my opinion, one of the most underrated R&B groups of all time. I have 3 Change albums - "The Glow of Love" (on cassette), "Miracles" and "Sharing Your Love" (both on vinyl). Change deserved MUCH more airplay and credit than they received 'back in the day'. On the three albums I mentioned, there really aren't any 'filler' cuts. Everything they put out was well orchestrated and beautifully sung. My all-time favorite Change song is "Hold Tight". That song is QUINTESSENTIAL Change.

  • @jbs431 ...So true!...I have all their stuff...I met Vincent Henry and Rick Brennan once at a show...

  • Very Clean Audio.

  • I have this album and this is my favorite cut on there..I remember this playing at the skating rink when I was younger..This use to be the jam!!

  • this track is hot... definately feeling everybit of it haha =)

  • Never heard this one by Change. sounds really good.Back in the day there were so many great sounding groups it's good to know that the good stuff is still around!

  • I nearly lost my mind when I saw this posted! Do you know how many cool points you get for this!! OMG I'm soooo glad I took the chance and looked. You are King of the mountain ...today!...lol

  • Thank you for posting "Sharing you love". Had the album and it has been ruined. Can't find it anywhere. Again, thank you:-)

  • this a sexy ballad from the great CHANGE. James Robinson was a great Soul Singer, a friend of Vandross and Fonzi Thornton. Change were really classy rhythm outfit from Italy who were attuned to the black american Soul Music of the 70s and 80,s. Heavily influenced by CHIC and 'Philly Soul' TSOP. Soulful vocals, beautiful melodies, lush orchestrations and a Funky bass.

    !Soul Disco Masterclass!

    Dre La Freek

  • Thank you so much! I don't know why this track isn't on the Best of Change compilations! Thank you!

  • Thanks 4 Posting Another GREAT TRACK from A Superb Group & Album!

  • A Killer track from a great album been waiting ages for sum 1 to put it on youtube!!

  • Damn...use to, and still do, love this song! Brings back great times!
