  • ByronMcElderry keep on, go further, go to a vintyl shop, get a record player, experience richness of Sound!

  • Elfin John?! How olde are you?

  • anyone else get like an early-70's Elton John vibe from this? Mostly the verses. Not trying to compare that two or start a stupid argument. Just curious if I'm alone on that.

  • Dat riff

  • the original Jethro Tull taught that seed must not be scattered but planted in appropriate ground - much like Jethro Tull's music!

  • first time I saw Tull was 1975.

  • Hey is it normal that I think of V for Vendetta when I hear this song? I just think it would've made it such a better movie if the guy sat down at a huge pipe organ and played this song

  • slip this christian pantiess

  • dead

  • 2nd concert i saw gead was 1st

  • ..

  • oh yeah

  • that's exactly the kind of music i love

  • Clive Bunker!

  • @manferot Fuck yeah!

  • Great band, had been listening to them for a few years before I learned there's nobody in the band named Jethro Tull. The band was named after him. He was an agriculturist that lived in the late 1600s- mid 1700s England.

  • @snedly3c yeah, kind of like how some people think there's a person named Pink Floyd but it's actually the combined names from two blues legends. Pink Anderson and Floyd Council.

  • @Egista07 hmmm?

  • @snedly3c Actually, they had been playing this club, and not getting invited back, so every week their manager would book them under a different name so they could play again. They were booked as "Jethro Tull" the first time they got invited back, so it stuck.

  • @GuitaristInProgress They were almost Jethro Toe ;)

  • @snedly3c I love Lenard Skinerd.

  • @snedly3c the inventor of the seed drill-thats a way to put it.

  • @snedly3c wellll... duh! Like, "which one's Pink?". Or, ...not knowing that Leonard Skynnard was the name of their HS Gym Teacher, or that those men were NOT from (sweet home)Alabama, but Florida. If you're all-that ignorant then you should not post such stupidity. A lot of people assumed Ian Anderson WAS "Jethro" back in the 70s. So, on one hand, you're forgiven, but, on the other hand, we KNOW w/o a doubt you are truly stupid, b/c with Wiki etc. there is no excuse for postings like this.

  • @manofthecloth613 Get a life loser...

  • @manofthecloth613 joke's on you! Lynyrd Skynrd's gym teacher's name was Leonard Skinner!

  • Ian Anderson is one of the most talented musicians there is. My first concert at 11 years old was Jethro Tull. Saw then again 5 years later and they were better.

  • the real deal

  • no dislikes. awesome

  • jew

  • @berdoofool he aint even jew

  • @Sharingman-

OUR music creates the canvas on which the Young Ones paint their future,

    the world is evolving.

  • love my Jethro have since the 70's....and my kids do also...timeless

  • Most under rated but successful bandS of all time pure genius !! GD DOES IT GET ANY BETTER ???

  • @divrack I... they're grammy-winning artists... one of the bestselling musical artists of all time... underrated? wut?

  • @SharinganMan when people talk about the great bands of the 60's & 70's Hendrix Doors The Stones Zeppelin Beatles I seldom here their name them thrown in and a a musician i dont think they get enough credit thats all im saying . Ian is a genius My kid went to see them last year he is 25 He thought it was the best show he had ever seen And coming from him a talented musician with a wide range of tastes thats saying something.I just think they seem to be forgotten sometimes

  • @SharinganMan actually I gotta agree with them. In my experience everytime I have mentioned Jethro Tull to someone ususally i just get a blank stare

  • @ByronMcelderry and @divrack ...So who's underrating them, again?

  • @SharinganMan just very ignorant people who havent heard of him. Or sometime people will know him for Aqualung being on rockband

  • @ByronMcelderry I learned of Jethro Tull due to Rock Band. It is not a sin that I learned it through a video game. It is more of a blessing for I would have gone further through life without ever hearing Jethro Tull.

  • @Xtremist777 I hear that. You should of been around back in da day. Was great times my friend.

  • @Xtremist777 The same principle applies to Hip-Hop! It is the music appreciation genre of all genres. Growing up, I was the only kid in the hood listening to this stuff cause my dad was the only one playing it! LOL

  • @Xtremist777 like wise

  • @Shuvo702 Plus, the people that say things like "I listened to this song before ___" are acting like hipsters.

  • @ByronMcelderry well i knew who they were because my mum had showed me the rolling stones rock n roll circus so for a while the only song i knew was "song for jeffrey" but i was reading and article about the recording of aqualung and i thought i should check it out i am soo glad i did !!

  • Tull's amazing. I saw them last summer. They've still got it. LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL, THE BEST MUSIC EVER!!!

  • love jethro...thank you

  • blinding

  • this is one of the best albums ever great out of this world thx

  • great!!!!
