Mmhm, true. But that's never happened. Most of those storms only generally blow around 50-60MPH. In order for a sandstorm to skin you, it'd have to be around 200, to LITERALLY skin you.

@TamezHimself I lived in the Middle East. PPl there do die of lung related illnesses. I went through these storms. I had to stay inside for 4-6 weeks. That's how long they last during the monsoon season in India. The dust is so fine, it seeps in through the cracks of tightly locked doors and windows. I was putting tape over them...as I developed asthma. Air traffic and ground traffic is halted. PPl cover their faces to go out for grocieries. I'd take an ice storm over this any day.

it was on a beach out at some islands, a hurricane came, which DOES have strong enough winds, and all they found of the people were their shoes, everything else had been sandblasted away

It's slow speed is an optical illusion, because of it's immense size. You see when it gets close enough it starts moving faster.

So, it just looks like it's moving slow but it's really moving pretty fast.
