Jian Ghomeshi, when he was at York University, was actually "Jean" Ghomeshi, was a staunch anti-media socialist, and was actually about five years older than he variously claims to be now.
His peak was playing bongos for Candi's song "Dancing Under A Latin Moon" (1988, which should put his hipness in perspective). Seriously, he's in the video. If someone finds it on YouTube, by god, let us know.

I actually disagree with Jian, but understand and respect that stance.
My support of capital punishment would only occur under certain conditions and I doubt very much much they would be met. That said, I don't think the only section of our law that needs some adjustments is sex offences.
