@popZoro it was a sequel. if u don't understand then listen. The Halloween franchise was meant to be an anthology series kinda like creepshow and twilight zone. but fans wanted Michael Myers so H4 (my 2nd fave) brought him back on the screen.

@UltimateDumeandGwen I think their franchise for making each Halloween movie different might have been way more successful if they actually TOLD everyone they were gonna do it like that instead of just making 3 a totally different movie.

Then again, I think people still would've been mad that there was no Myers lol

@UltimateDumeandGwen Meh. I'm happy with Michael being the main character of each movie. Besides, when you make a sequel to a movie, and then a sequel to the SEQUEL (and so on), what do you expect to happen? That's probably why people hated the third movie. They made Halloween 2 about Myers, so they expected Halloween 3 to have Myers as well.

I would like to see someone make an anthology series about things happening on Halloween, though.
