There is no knock back on guns. that happens due to use of shield. if you take damage like that even from arrows you get knock back

@TotalHalibut The knockback is something that happens in normal Magicka aswell. Everytime you have a shield casted on yourself and get hit, you are knocked back.

Therefore, I see people avoiding casting shield in this game as much as in the previous one.

I dont agree with using shields in this expanshion more, because you get knocked down when damaged with a ranged weapon ONLY if you are using the shield. So it becomes quite annoing to lie on the ground till your shield wear off.

TB you dont get knock backed if you dont apply the shield ON you :)

Same thing happends in The Normal Magicka - apply it on yourself and get hit by an arrow, get knock backed :D

Totalbiscuit left out something about this game if you dont have friends to play with i would not suggest getting this game it is very hard alone i think multiplayer is crucial.

Knockback only happens when you have a personal shield on.  It was like that in regular Magicka too.

I'm confident that knockback only occurs when you have shield on, self shield actually reduces your weight. Without a shield you won't be knocked down by the guns as much. I may be wrong, of course.

The knockback isn't DESPITE the shield, but BECAUSE of it. It was that way in the original game, too. If you have a shield up, knockback will be higher and arrows and, it seems, gunfire simply knocks you down.

TB the reson you get knocked back when are hit is because you have shield on you, thats in the spell description. :D

you mentioned that the knockback is terrible. THAT"S NOT THE GUNS. The shields make you vulnerable to knockback. Whenever you get hit with a shield on, you get knocked around a bit.

@coolhitmandude5000 though yogscast is awesome i still think TB deserves to be ahead. AzDaily is the most informative WoW show out there imo, along with great sc2 commentaries (my personal fav sc2 caster) and great game reviews, i still consider this channel the best channel on youtube.

Just wanted to point it out to you TB.. The knockback could be a result of you having the shield up when getting shot.. I think that was the thing with Adventure mode atleast but with arrows then.

Lag has to do with your internet connection..

Your hardware is fine.. but get rid of the HD5450. It's not meant for gaming but watching HD movies and Windows Aero. I think you mean low framerate.. not LAG. :-) Also id Upgrade to 4Gb of ram atleast.. DDR3 Ram is really cheap. You wont Regret it! ;-)
