I'm not a big fan of Porche, they refuse to move the engine in the 911 forward, steadfastly refusing to break their rear engined philosophy, while at the same time not allowing the mid-engined Cayman to be the car it could be, i.e it aint as powerfull as a 911. The reasoin being if the Cayman had the power of a 911 no one would buy 911's anymore. The Cayenne also falls
on its face for me, because it can't be fitted with wheels small enough to accommodate propper off road tyres (because of the size of its breaks smaller wheels can not be fitted). A 4x4 dose not have to go off-road, but it should have the potential ability to. So as a rule I am not a Porche fan. The Panamera keeps its traditional Porsche look on the sedan. A bold move by Porsche and will be going up against the likes of the BMW M5, Audi S6 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
I think the biggest downfall to this car would be its pricing. Unless they hold a performance much better than its competitors I don't see this car outselling its competition. Still, there isn't a lot of information about this car to make a fair assement to determine its success as of yet.

Im not too true here all about this but i think you guys are all wrong about the BMW 735i, it was a actuall 750il version. What they did was do the conversion with transmission. and add a couple other full mods. I believe they had 2 or 3 cars for production. So yea. it was a conversion and i think its in the behind the scenes take states that.

oh my DAYS! the panamera looks worse each time i see it, i think it has some good features but what they've done is try to morph a 911 into a 4 door saloon?!? why cant they just come up with something fresh, like they did with the origional 911? cos this panamera looks like a carrera, cayenne with a tumour growing on its ass. Great episode btw, really like FLD Tours!

Does anyone else think Derrek D looks allot like Colby O'donis in Lady GaGa's Just Dance video? hmm and as far as the new porsche, i have to say i never agreed with Jeremy Clarkson before on this but it truly does now look like a squashed VW beetle and it comes with all the great looks of a lowrider cayenne. some of the high-performance cars are basically street-legal race toys and are just not comfortable to live with or even enjoyable during a rush-hour commute in gridlock
stiff ride, they get very hot, and also maintenance costs are prohibitive, even to those that can afford them
many have almost no storage inside
list goes on and on
Also, newer sports cars and exotics are said to be easier to live with than older classics

Hey just so ya know Derek D, You said the Audi A8 was in The Transporter. It was actually the second movie not the first. Even Still, I'm quite sure none of the people who watch this show, including myself , drive anything remotely close to that so it of course doesn't matter.
