i remember when i first saw this. it was in 2001. my grandmother, who is supremely religious, told me to change the channel because it was rock music and rock is satanic.
now i am 17 years old, watching this and all i can say is fuck you grammie, this stuff is awesome.
The chorus of this actually sounds darker than the original Born In The USA. It is in a minor key instead of major, kind of dark and spooky for muppets lol.
I thought you were allowed to use someone else's work for parodies or satirical purposes without worrying about all that though... At least that's the law in some places.
I so remember this. This is from the 1990's I think. The Chicken is a really good sax player. I wish I owned this barn so me and these cute animals can sing and dance together. You know the chicken who plays the sax is she voiced by Louise Gould? I would love this song on my mobile phone and my I pod and CD and DVD. That would be so cool. Has anyone got any clips from Elmo in grouchland and cinderelmo? Also has anyone got this song in aribic? I wonder what Sesame Street is called in aribic?
Either the donkey is voiced by Martin or Jerry Nelson; it's hard to tell myself. Also, I disagree with Fran being the duck because I think she is the mouse with the duck being Kathryn Mullen. And from your previous comment above, which ones does Jim Martin perform?
I'm not certain. I got this information from Muppet Wiki. And I do in fact here a bit of Kathryn Mullen's voice in the duck, but Fran's as well. Like I said, I'm not sure about anything with this song. I can tell you one thing, though: the donkey is definitely not Jerry Nelson. I don't think he's in this one at all.
Incidentally, more about this song has been added to Muppet Wiki, including more performers, and Kathryn still isn't among them. I'm still leaning towards the duck being Fran.
Sesame Street Bruce Stringbean Christopher Cerf Buster Horse A Donkey Martin P.Robinson A Dog Kevin Clash Chicken Joseph Mazzarino A Cow Lousie Gold Animals Fran Brill Pam Arciero Steve Whitmire Jim Martin 1990s
I wondered if this would of ever turn up. I only saw it once when I was young. Performers here are Jim Martin, Martin P. Robinson, Louise Gold, Pam Arciero, and Fran Brill.
I remember this, I took it very serious 20 years ago, I'm laughing my ass off now
