  • why pilots do touch and go ?what is point of this

  • you should mark your videos with somekind of FS tag, so people searching for the real deal dont have to waste their time with your silly little games

  • fucking games.

  • i thought the Front wheels never touched on touch n go

  • when would you do a touch and go in a 747 in real life?

  • after you do the 757 but it would be in furter training

  • yes but why would you after all training?

  • where do you get plane?

  • it's payware plane named pmdg747.Google it

  • oh ok, do you get the british arways 747 with this add on

  • well yes.You have to download the livery u want then install it.Livery can be found out at the official site

  • woops. I ment to say during touch and go's.

  • cool vid 5/5

  • the purpose of touch and go is usually for training purposes.

  • wtf sense is in touch and go? the passengers can't even get out from the plane lol :D

  • cant take off with full flaps yo.

  • Depends on how much fuel and passengers is onboard :P

  • no it has to do with drag. a 747 or any aircraft will have horrible takeoff performance with full flaps no matter how much weight u have on board.

  • True but it will probably still be able to lift off with full flap setting

  • Here is a quote from the Embry Riddle website. "Flaps are located on the aft or "trailing edge" of the wing and increase both lift and drag. Because of the increased drag, flaps are only partially extended on takeoff, and fully extended on landing. The added drag created by full flaps on landing allows the aircraft to approach at a steep angle without excessive air speed."

  • riddle knows what they're talkin' about!

  • yo yea you can it creates speed

  • are u fucking me? dude dont come up here and say crap you dont know. flaps create speed? lol i'm sorry u needa get ur facts straight. what do you mean by creating speed? Cuz i can put the flaps down and create a slower speed. But i doubt thats what u meant. Flaps create MORE DRAG and LIFT - hence planes land at a slow airspeed making landing MUCH easier.

  • when you are doing a go around right when you touch down retract to flaps to 20 or less.

  • & to add to this guys comment flaps are only used partially on takeoff because it alows a lower liftoff speed, which means less runway but doesn't create too much drag so the aeroplane cant accelerate or climb well. If u take off with full flap on b747 they wll be ripped off once you reach about 160-180 KIAS

  • can someone tell me why touch and goes are done?

  • I'm pretty sure it's mainly done for practicing landing or for testing the landing surface.

  • The first suggestion is correct :)

  • nice landing!! where did you get the aircraft from and is it payware of freeware?

  • fault in the graphics... not my flying :D

  • The wings looked like they were flapping to takeoff :S

  • Graphics error! :P

  • whats a touch and go for?

  • practice landings

  • Just like ba all over drop off and go and i mean DROP OFF AND GO.

    BA saving money

    Great video LOL

  • Hey where did you get that BA skin :) Looks awesome :D

  • did u use slew mode for this cuz thats wat it looks like

  • no I didn't

  • well thats what the thing at the top is for musta been a glitch

  • wheres the sound?

  • gone

  • Beautiful, Magnificent

  • thanks :)

  • dop they touch and go in real life in a 747???????

  • Yes if they perform a go-around :)

  • Why do planes touch and go?

  • So you can save time if you want to practice landings for example...

  • would passengers be onboard whilst doing this?

  • Possibly... A "go around" is intiated by either Air Traffic Control or the pilot, telling the pilot it is not safe to land. If the aircraft has already hit the ground a similar movemnt as the video will be performed. (if the aircraft is in the air and above minimiums it will just open throttle) A "touch and go" is used for practising landings and take off, and tends to be used with an inteiand to do so, whislt go arounds are a spur of the moment thing.

  • the evrything is oright, but was it by -400 version of B747 ?????

  • nice PMDG model.. good video dude...

  • thanks!

  • thanks!

  • great landing, what are your comp specs

  • Thanks! My specs are: Dual core 2,8ghz processor, 2gb ddr ram, 256mb ati radeon x1300 graphics card :)
