Was this actually a Gibson-made advertising piece? It's cute, but dumb.
The advertiser's presumed implications:
1) A female cannot properly tune a guitar.
2) The modern guitar-buyer would prefer, say, this year's model, stuffed with the most current, state-of-the-art technology, to, say, an older model, which will still function, after the manufacturer quits supporting the technology-du-jour.
3) Present-day Gibson buyers are suckers for high-profile gimmicks.
WOw they really making it impossible for me to tell my friends about this guitar they all think its one load of bull. A self tuning guitar? I think the intenetaion is not quite so true though. for that the frets must be loose and adjustable too. Besides its not going to be available in South Africa soon

nope. it's true. the only feature i've seen so far that it hasn't had is auto truss rod adjustment, other than that it looks pretty incredible
