It was a poor decision, I had it 115 to 113 for Marquez but I would've been okay with a draw seeing as Manny was the champion. But 116 to 112 for Manny?? No way! Yes he was the "aggressor" but there is such a thing as "effective aggression" which Manny was NOT able to establish, he was weary of Marquez's counter punching ability and he turned into the one handed brawler we saw fight Marquez in 2004.

@beeshabo Judges can favour the aggressor quite a bit, I expected a draw or Marquez win in all honesty but still.. I don't think the judges liked that Marquez just backed away most of the fight instead of going for it, if it wasn't a title match I think Marquez would have won decision, but the stats still favour Pac.

He hardly landed anything effective, Marquez wasn't just backing away, he was using "angles" to circle away and "counter punching" every time Manny threw something, I saw Marquez land the "cleaner" more "effective" punches, if the "aggressor" get's the majority of the judges votes, Why did Floyd get the decision against De La Hoya? Wasn't Floyd backing up most of the fight? Hmmmm.
