please oh my cod! dante's inferno is only the first of three parts of the "divina commedia" that is considered the opera from whic is born the modern italian language! but it isn't an heroic adventure but a travel of the author (dante alighieri) from inferno purgatorio and paradise from fall to absolution ! it's a metaphore!

@LykStone this game is based off an OLD poem written by an italian dude named Dante Alighieri...he wasnt a warrior like in the game, just some poet that wrote about his journeys through hell to get to heaven. and Inferno means Hell in italian.

This game is a mockery on the book "The Divine Comedy" on wich this game is based on!! They shouldn´t have made this an action game, they should have made it like Silent Hill. Horror based. The book is NOTHING like this at all. It would be way more fun go around exploring the nine circels of hell instead of slashing your way through. I´m disapointed at the gamemakers.

this game was sweet, love the twist at the end. while some of the game play is redundant and at times the puzzles are unreasonably complicated, it contains one of the best story lines i have ever had the enjoyment of participating in. i highly recommend this game

Gameplay is like god of war's because a developer or developers from the god of war team came and helped develop the gameplay and concept art. Also this has the basic imagery of the book, but if they followed the book exactly it'd be boring as hell cause you'd be a poet walking through hell shitting your pants the whole way. The book also has pieces of Greek mythology such as King Minos so of course some Greek Mythology will be intertwined with the game. Overall, it was good.
