  • Obama is one of the last remnants of the old socialist guard. The times they are a changing - to get rid of him.

  • I am proud to be an American!

  • And I'm proud of you, americans. I hope that Obama bring us what we're waiting for... For the times they are a-changing...

  • finally a version of this slideshow with the original song... unbelievable. i just went through about ten others similar to this and all are dylan covers... bob is the only one that can really tell the story of this election through this song. great slide show!

  • I think Obama will be a GREAT President, but let's face it -- he sucks as a dancer

  • I think you got it backwards man, Obama will suck as a president but is a great dancer

  • All over the world people admire Obama. I'm canadian and here in canada everyone loves him, too.

  • I cannot think of a better song to go with this piece of history

  • I completely agree.

    :)

Obama will make a great president.

  • two of my favorite pepole, it's like chuck norris high fiving mr. T.

but in all seriousness, I can't wait to see what Barack brings us in the next four years.

  • Heartfelt thanks to the good American soul who put this together!

  • Bob Dylan

  • Well said -- Well sung

    'Think Positive..

    Think Together'

  • Bravo!

  • Isn't it great??? We got him in there!! THE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGIN'!!!!!

  • Great video, great song. i urge all americans to find time to vote tomorrow; hopefully for barack obama ;), not because mccain is a bad candidate but right now america needs something new, something mccain cant offer.

  • anche se non vincera dimpostra che itempi sono maturi e stanno realmente cambiando

  • The bottom line is the American people need to get off their ass and start being productive. Not watching reality TV, eating fast food and jerking off their cat. If the people don't change nothing will.

  • Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday. Can't come fast enough!

  • Nah the only joke around here is your comment.

  • For reals.

  • What the Hell is Wrong with You?

  • someone wants attention

  • What we need is to become more COMPETETIVE or else this country will continue to hemmorage jobs, losing them to other countries with lower wages and more favorable tax rates. With the US having the and 2nd highest tax rate in the world, it's tough to keep them here.

  • Ok then what has happened these last 8 years? Why are people losing their jobs? Over 700,000 this year? Our trade agreements are allowing other nations to manipulate their currency. Our trade agreements are not in the best interest for our country. Yes we need to be more competitive, but I'm sorry if we continue to create trade agreements that don't adhere to our standards, we will continue to see jobs shipped overseas. We need to invest in our country! This hasn't happened these past 8 years.

  • This is Obama's quote on why he opposes the Colmbian Free Trade Agreement.

  • So you can trust me when I say that whatever trade deals we negotiate when I'm President will be good for American workers, and that they'll have strong labor and environmental protections that we'll enforce.

  • During the primaries, Obama railed against free trade, proposing even to renegotiate free-trade agreements with our top two trading partners, Canada and Mexico. He has opposed the Columbian Free Trade Agreement, even though it primarily removes tariffs on American exports to that country, with barriers to Columbian exports to America already almost all removed under the Andean Trade Preferences Act.

  • Well we are kinda in a crunch anyway arent we?

  • He opposes the Columbian Free Trade Agreement for this reason, "I'll also oppose the Colombia Free Trade Agreement if President Bush insists on sending it to Congress because the violence against unions in Colombia would make a mockery of the very labor protections that we have insisted be included in these kinds of agreements."So you want us J4nitor01 to not care about labor or environmental standards in our agreements?

  • What I oppose-and what I have always opposed- are trade deals that put the interests of multinational corporations ahead of the interests of Americans workers-like NAFTA, and CAFTA, and permanent normal trade relations with China. And I'll also oppose the Colombia Free Trade Agreement if President Bush insists on sending it to Congress because the violence against unions in Colombia would make a mockery of the very labor protections that we have insisted be included in these kinds of agreements.

  • reenie 7777

I was sighting one of several credidable people who say that BO's policies would be bad or even may cause a depression. Among other are CNBC commenators ( most of them ),

Fox bussiness news, Wall street journal, Investors Bussiness Daily, CEOs sucha as John Chamber's & Jack Welch.

BO does not mention tarriffs? Tarrifs are a bad way to and was a significant factor in the deepening of the Great Depression. And Unions have all but killed the Auto industry in the US.

  • The problem with that is the sources that you named are all owned by conservatives. The wall street journal is conservative owned, fox buisness news is conservative owned, etc. I found resources that have sited that McCain's tax plan will run this nation into the ground. I have read articles from economists that have said so. Does that mean they're correct? Unbiased reporting is difficult to find. You found yours from conservative biased news sources. Why should I trust their view point?

  • Fox News and some of his sources you can criticize, but do you really mean to suggest that the WSJ is just biased for anything the Republican Party says? It is probably convenient for some people to believe, but the WSJ has expert opinions above such petty party politics.

  • Turns out Kellman's a disciple of the late Saul "The Red" Alinsky, a hard-boiled Chicago socialist who wrote the "Rules for Radicals" and agitated for social revolution in America

  • Excerpt from Investor's bussiness daily :

he said, "you'll start believing what they tell you about equal opportunity and the American way and all that sh**."

After college, where he palled around with Marxist professors and took in socialist conferences "for inspiration," Obama followed in Davis' footsteps, becoming a "community organizer" in Chicago.

His boss there was Gerald Kellman, whose identity Obama also tries to hide in his book.

  • this is bullshit

  • You'll get change alright you mindless drones! And I hope your happy if this fool gets elected and this country falls into the

    Greatest depression since the 30's.

  • Actually John McCain's economic policies are closer to Hoover's and Coolige's who got us into the depression in the first place. (smaller goverment, voluneteerism, minumal goverment involvement.) While Obama's policies are more like FDR's (Funding for public projects. ect.)

  • Nobel Prize-winning economist Robert Mundell has written that if such tax increases are adopted, the U.S. economy will suffer a deep recession, a nosedive, and the dollar will decline further. Amity Shlaes, author of The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression, claims Obama has proposed the exact same policy mix that led to the depression of the 1930s

  • You have no basis for that, I could say just the same thing about McCain. Stop being ignorant

  • a republican shouldn't call anyone else a drone

  • Not everyone who wants Obama is a "drone," you fool.

  • Now, let me get this straight, the USA in only about 200 years has become the most successfull, most powerful country in the history in the history of man. Americans have enjoy more freedom and experience more prosperity by far than most anywhere else in the world. Yea, let's have CHANGE. Let's vote in a REAL MARXIST president, become a citizen of world, do things more like those other countries who have less freedom, less prosperity, less security. Yea great, CHANGE! , CHANGE! , CHANGE!

  • You're an idiot. First off, if Obama is a Marxist, so was Clinton, FDR, Wilson, and Truman. It's people like you who don't care about the country because you don't seem to want it to be even better. A truly great country doesn't sit on its heals and pat itself on the back, it keeps moving.

p.s. we aren't even in the top 30 when it comes to having the msot freedoms, doesn't that bother you just a bit? Holland isn't the greatest country, but by definition, it's the true land of the free.

  • Excerpt from Investor's bussiness daily :

A careful reading of Obama's first memoir, "Dreams From My Father," reveals that his childhood mentor up to age 18 — a man he cryptically refers to as "Frank" — was none other than the late communist Frank Marshall Davis, who fled Chicago after the FBI and Congress opened investigations into his "subversive," "un-American activities."

    They'll train you so good,"

  • I'm a registered republican, who is tired of Bush's bull honky in Iraq and his terrible policies!

    Obama 08!

  • This is really an excellent video. I am so inspired by Barack Obama and this video captures that inspiration.

  • Odense/Denmark 6/04- The Times Interview:

"we've got this guy out there now who is redefining the nature of politics from the ground up...Barack Obama"

"He's redefining what a politician is, so we'll have to see how things play out. Am I hopeful? Yes, I'm hopeful that things might change. Some things are going to have to."

    Bob Dylan backs Obama

  • That right there should be proof for anyone. Dylan never speaks up for any kind of politician.

  • The rest of the world needs this victory, not just you guys. What's experience? The dolt who's occupied the Oval Office for the last 8 years wasn't exactly brimming with experience, was he?

OK he had his Dad to weigh in with advice, so too will Obama's advisors. Europe is rooting for Barak too, sweep out the old, bring in the new, it's about feckin' time...

  • It sure would be awesome if he won this thing.

  • this is WONDERFUL

did you hear that Dylan said nice stuff about Obama recently?

"...we've got this guy out there now who is redefining the nature of politics from the ground up...Barack Obama. He's redefining what a politician is, so we'll have to see how things play out. Am I hopeful? Yes, I'm hopeful that things might change. Some things are going to have to."

  • Silky4ever, Obama may not be Bobby Kennedy, but he is far better than the alternative options. The country is a mess and in drastic need of a new direction. Obama's importance is not just his own political career and ambitions, but it is the new people whom he brings to political activity and awareness. A change is occurring, not just in Washington, but in our society.

  • Explain to me how this country's leadership could possibly get worse than the Bush Administration. It can't. I'll be honest...half the stuff Obama says might not happen...but the fact that he's saying it all makes me really excited to see what the future holds. the times truly are a-changin'.

  • Bravo! Yes We Can!

  • I saw him last week. He was inspiring but the real inspiration was from the people. Black, white, hispanic, asians were represented. Everyone was smiling and laughing. Our people have been so sad for so long. It gave me such hope that we can come together as one people.

  • 100 yr war... no thank you.

  • go mccain

  • Obama 08!

  • Really nice. But kinda hard not to be w/Dylan singin'. No offense to the others but this song only has all its power when he sings it.

  • Great use of Bob Dylan's profetic song.

    Well done!

  • Beautifully done. Check out my tribute to Obama if all are interested

    ^_^

    Just click my name

  • I just cried

  • Come Senator Hillary, please heed the call,

Don't stand in the doorway, don't block up the hall!

  • Barack is great but he is not ready!!!

Wait till Hillary has had her two terms!!!!

    Obama for 2016!!!!!!!!!!

    Hillary for 2008!!!!!

  • I'd say Hillary for 2016 because maybe she will have finally grown up by then.

  • It is quite the opposite!!!!

She has been around politics for quite awhile even while Barack was in High School!!!!!!!

  • My point exactly. Age and time mean nothing for maturity or judgment. Need evidence? Look at their respective voting records and the way Hillary behaves as compared to Obama. She's like a teenage girl in the body of a 60 year old woman.

Obama got to the top quickly because he is talented and intelligent. Hillary got into the Senate because of who she was married to.

  • I am just too afraid that Obama cannot beat McCain!

And being stuck with another run of the mill Republian is not what I want or this country need!!!!!!

People will vote for Hillary because they remember the old days of Bill's terms when there was a Budget Surplus not a deficit and when we were at peace not some god-for-saken war that we could or would win!!!!!!!

  • Well, if you looked at the polls and talked to general people around the area, you'd probably guess that Obama would be WAY more likely than Hillary to win the general election. It makes sense, too, even if you don't believe polls: Hillary is overly combative and bitchy, saying that she's "a fighter." She would have little chance winning a general election because she is already so hated. Obama on the other hand is likable and good at reaching across. He has a much better chance at winning.

  • So you are saying that Obama is popular everywhere, including the deep south in Ku Klux Klan meeting houses?

I do not know where you are located but up here in New England it is quite a bit different socially and politically then in Georgia!

I will say this though if Hillary does not win tonight in Ohio and Texas she is done!

But lets not count anyone out yet!!!!

    Not even Ron Paul!(yeah right!!!!!)

  • So you are saying that Obama is popular everywhere, including the deep south in Ku Klux Klan meeting houses?

  • That's just stupid. When was the last time the Democratic party depended upon the Ku Klux Klan vote? The kind of people who would hate him because he's black probably wouldn't be voting Democrat anyway. Do you think any of those people would vote for Hillary instead? Nobody is popular everywhere, but Obama is quite a bit more popular among people outside the party than Hillary is.

  • Obviously you do not get it.

It is the independents that I am worried about the states up here who are traditionally democrats are not to be worried about! It is the Independents in the whole central part of the counrtry!!!

  • No, you don't get it. For every 1 million independents who wouldn't vote for Obama because he's black, there's another 8 million who wouldn't vote for Hillary because she's obnoxious and bitchy. "I can't stand that woman" is a phrase you'll commonly hear when you ask middle aged white males what they think of Hillary. There's also the fact that she has lots of dirt on her that the pubs are just waiting to dig up the moment she gets the nom (if she does). The little dirt Obama has is already out.

  • News flash!!!

The majority of voters are not middle aged white males!

I do call smoking marijuana (pardon my spelling!) a small amount of dirt!!

  • Are you kidding me? Nobody is going to care about if he admits to smoking marijuana as a teenager. Giuliani admitted to it as well and even said he liked it, and nobody cared, because most adults in this country did it themselves when they were his age as well. Nice try. Next?

  • Ok and look at what happened to guiliani he was out of the race before supertuesday!

That is what is going to happen to Barack if he gets the nomination!

  • thats exactly why he is best for now....lsiten experience wont help you if people dont like you and you dont have the right judgement.....and btw name experience hillary has...and being in the white house while her husbnad was president doesnt count because remember it wasnt her answering that phone and btw may i ask....do you support her because you want bill back? or do you really trust her? ill come out and say it i like bill but hes not gonna be the president....she has horrible judgement

  • we have no time to wait....we need change now we need inspiration in this country now...we need it now more than veer we are too divided we have both political parties tearing eachother down.....obama is ready

  • That is beautiful!!!!

  • Well Done!

  • Come senators, congressmen Please heed the call Don't stand in the doorway Don't block up the hall For he that gets hurt Will be he who has stalled There's a battle outside And it is ragin'. It'll soon shake your windows And rattle your walls For the times they are a-changin'. Very nice tribute. The American people can choose between the same old religious right conservative sh*t or they can have a change.I think he is the only one capable to bring the change the people are waiting for
  • fired up & ready to go! let's go change the world.

  • go obama!!!!! we need your help texas and ohio and wisconsin...lets do it together...LETS MAKE CHANGE IN WASHINGTON...from an average american in missouri who is in support of getting rid of the old and in with the new! God Bless All!

  • OBAMA, 2008-2016 WHOOOOOOOOOO

(if you live in the state of Texas, for the love of god, get out and VOTE for Obama)

  • I love that I can recognize spots he is in watching the video. Great capture of him spreading his message of change, all over the USA!

Great job with the music and the video

  • Nicely Done... I love Bob Dylan and Barack's not too bad either :]

  • Good one.

  • I hope for the sake of your Country that this man becomes president. He could bring the US back to a respectful nation

  • Lmao look at US now....
