I heard this song again on CBC radio while driving yesterday. I had forgotten how good it is. Her singing and the arrangement sound very Jeff Buckley-ish on this track. Her new album is coming out this summer. She is quoted as saying it will be most similar to "Whoa Nelly".

I'm from colombia and at that time she wasn't very popular here And I was only 12 years old And I totally fell inlove with her sound And even learned english just to understand her songs! but i dont give a fuck. she has an amazing a voice. I wasnt jaded by being shy about liking supposed "girly" music. She is just such a great singer...unfortunately she's gotten so mainstream now and her sound is so stereotypically pop. Atleast we have these songs still...
