pointless. No one buys a watch because it does things you like to do on your phone, watches are fashion statements and this is so far from fashionable it's untrue. I mean seriously they need to compete with design classics and so far it looks like a shoddy Chinese rip off of an ipod nano. No actually Chinese rip offs are usually much better.

In buying all of these expensive luxuries that are ultimately pointless, we spend money that would be infinitely more useful were it to be used for the purpose of improving the quality of life of people who don't have the financial security to support themselves, let alone check if they've received a text by looking at their watch. Novelty is a flimsy justification at best.

I had an older version of this watch and it was unusable. It was slow, constantly lost connection with the phone and the battery drained in a few hours even if you weren't actively using it making it pretty useless as a watch.

I would like to think this improves all that and makes it actually usable, but I'm not holding my breath.

Can't wait for apple to make a curve glass smartwatch/ update of the ipod nano. Would be great to have a curve glass horizontal rectangular shape with slimline thickness to give text a little more room. Obviously its no substitute for browsing or reading text on the phone, but makes it great to quickly check text messages, emails etc. Oh and definitely include siri.

As i have said before this came out before the Ipod nano, the liveview came out in 2009 the Ipod nano came out in 2010. This is the successor to the liveview which came out 3 years ago. The Ipod nano 6th gen might or might not have copied sony but the fact remains that sony had the liveview a full year and half before the Ipod nano came out. Before posting comments you should do some research otherwise you come off sounding idiotic.
