Hello.. What type of lighting do you use? and how many watts are they altogether?

18' 18 Watt PC

and

20' 36 Watt PC

Total- 54 W

The Refugium has a 5W PC on it too

Hai again. I'm still confused about lighting. What is the difference between PL and PC lighting? My LFS said that a 9 watt PL lighting is enough for corals in my aquarium ( just like you, 7 gallon). Thanks.

ive never heard of PL lighting. What does it stand for?

Watts will always be Watts. For most 7 gallon tanks ive seen anywhere between 36 to 70+. I personally use a total of 54W(on the main tank) and 9W on the refugium filter area.

9 watts wont really do you any good, and it wouldnt be good for any light sufficient corals.
