I grew up in Greece, and now live in Holland, i must say i love spending time in Greece especialy in the summer but i do prefer living in Holland because of crap like this.

You have to admit that traffic is just ridiculus, even in small cities they park wherever they like making

the parking situation makes sense. ever since the credit market loosened up about 5-6 years ago, Greeks have been going nuts buying cars they mostly can't afford, that are totally unsuitable for the roads in Athens. they need to grow up and start being more realistic about their options.

Greece has one of the lowest ever since the introduction of the euro; consumption has expanded through credit, not real cash. as for the 3 month holidays, they went out the door for most years ago. those days are over.
