this is why it sucks when good songs are put into a games sound track. Especially rock band and shit but others too. You can always hear the bass better on live performances. I guess it's just the way they mix the recordings, with a little less bass. But it's so great to be able to hear it live. And you're right, bass is one of the first things to go when you have shitty speakers.

Actually Epiphone Dots and Casinos are very good semi-hollows. A lot of bands use them, notably Daniel Kessler of Interpol.

chris cheney uses a gretsch white falcon, epiphones are dodgey guitars so i dont know why u would suggest that.... chris is much better than a dodgey epiphone. and it is a full hollowbody. u must be a beginner if u dont know what gretsch's are....anyway ther ya go : )
