The M3 is top ended and at 7000 rpm at 160 mph, the horsepower being about equal, I would venture to say the M3 would be faster due to its lower weight and better aerodynamics. On a roadcourse with liots of corners, it would be a totally different story altogether.

dont compare engine sizes for horsepower. the Camaro has a large engine to mak ethe torque all throughout th RPM range,m the M3 doesnt make torque til mid and upper rpms.

the 333hp m3 engine even if it was 350 hp, doesnt compare with the 350 hp ls1.
