@MumboJumbo4: Well, back in the day, vids were a new mass medium just coming into their own. Totally experimental w/ almost no budgets -- there were no guarantees these things would sell albums. But everyone was coming to expect a kick-ass new band on the charts to have a video.

So, what I think you're lookin' at is the guitarist's expressions and stuff, right? I can tell you that Honeymoon Suite, in particular, was a live band playing to live audiences, as were most bands back then...

Poor Johnnie, can't get any respect in the bands hometown! I remember when this video had just come out and we were all stoked because they were coming to play at our high school, I.E. Weldon, in Lindsay, Ontario. A few years later after they had a few more hits under their belt I got a chance to meet Johnnie and Derry backstage in Ottawa at a Canada Day concert they were headlining. They were really nice fella's.
