Shredneck review - Shredneck contest!

Nice video dude, i appreciate your effort of showing people this, although the fact that you can't hear notes and that it's so small so position is useless, i kind of hate the idea of the ShredNeck. But again, good effort! ^^

Yes, it looks very comfy resting on the on the leg, although it must also be wonderful to carry it around, either with a shoulder strap, or in the small bag that comes with it. I agree with you, that it is definitely for left-handed use, and of course, right-handed use for leftys. Does the device serve some kind of purpose, or is it merely for decorating the leg or carrying around?

What are you eating? It sounds scrumptious... :-p

Well......i had a electric guitar and an acoustic, for quite awhile now, i wanted something to practice with, anything, and if i could have that shredneck i be very happy, i mean it looked awesome, i dont know if its a joke or not O_O but if its true then the reason i would want it is for playing playing and more playing, and also because it looks awesome and i want to shred.

@deathslice60 It's not a joke, it's a real practice tool. The only thing is that you won't hear much and if you do it won't' sound the way a guitar is tuned.

It's still a good warm up tool for left hand.

@healthaddiction Well, it's not meant for that. Just meant to get your muscles warmed up when you cannot have access to a guitar.

Nothing beats the real thing. This is just great when you are for example on a long plane trip and need to get ready for a gig or something...

it would be cool if they designed a 14 fret shredneck with a 1/4" jack output so we could plug it to an amp. also, without need for a wider neck to space out strings(for people with fat hands so they can play better without stumbling over too close strings), angle all but the two middle nut string slots so they widen out toward end of neck. this would be so cool if they designed this.

Who would want this crap ? Why not buy a GSF complete neck and make small holes on the end and put some strings ? Less than 30 bucks to do that, and this crap is ugly and small.

But it was very useful for me when driving to go teach. I could warm up in the car really easily... But yeah, it might not be for everyone.

@migitmatador Well, it is not designed to practice your musicality man. Just for left hand warm ups when you cannot have a real guitar anywhere. In that sense it works great, at least from my personal experience. I've used it a lot when driving to and get to gigs warmed up...

@therobanata Well, it certainly doesn't beat a real guitar. But for times when you don't have a guitar or cannot use one, it is quite a good tool.

I usually use it in the car when driving to a students' house. That way I'm already warmed up when I get there..
