yeah it would cost alot...dont think it would be cheap... it would probably be cheaper to by a RWD car instead

@P2Paulie As nice as it would be, Volvo's are ridiculously hard to mod, let alone do a major drivetrain conversion. That rear suspension is probably your biggest killer, let alone finding a transmission that would work. (Evo 8 box has been used in a few, but their owners have more money than god).

@ArthrusGigawitAnteon could not agree more... i am a proud S40 owner and currently undergoing a hand full of modds... just spent $6,000 on it and they are certainly not cheep cars to mod... i was just curious because i have seen a MK2 golf that has had a R32 motor, tranny and AWD conversion and was just wondering if the same can be done to a S40. I guess with enough money you can do anything..
