I appreciate your positive report! Amtrak needs more of this from those of us who ride and are basically please with the service and the attempts to please the public. A very difficult job, at times! My wife and I have been on all of the trains west of Chicago and will ride again and again! Try the trips out west - especially the California Zephyr!! You'll see the Rocky Mtns one day & Sierra Nevada Mtns the next!

That locomotive didn't take you to DC. It says New Jersey Transit right on the side, not Amtrak. You would've had an AEM7 or an HHP8.
