No, it was a bug; but I don't think that DDOS was in the patch notes for it. :P Regardless, there's enough videos here that at the very least question the integrity of the Devs and do little to inspire loyalty.
It's real shame they lost sight about they wrongs of the present.
If Viewer 2 were the cause, LL would not have rush-approved Phoenix and Ascent to the TPV when Emerald refused to comply. They did because they badly needed a clean alternative to keep people happy. Secondly, if V2 were the reason-- why even give Em a second chance after the *illegal* DDOS? That was enough to warrant the banning in the first place. You can say the 'ultimatum' LL offered in the end was unfair but to say that it was impossible to comply with is a fallacy-- he chose not to.
