  • @HuggabugClubFan During the 1990 run, there was one episode where the Bonus Run was for $10,000 instead of $5,000.

  • 0:53 Giant Nilla Wafers Box falls down.

On an unrelated note, those two women dominated this show.

  • It always tickles me when the contestants rip the sticker off of the product during the last round. You would think they would know to simply turn the product over and read the clue lol. By the way, I've never heard of MD toilet paper and I'm 25 yrs old lol.

  • I remember seeing some episodes on Lifetime.

  • Anyone have the sweep when player ran looking for $10,000 from 1990?

  • love the sound effect used when valerie and lynne win the $5,000...i remember hearing it on the kids show fun house (which aired in canada a few years before this) when the players grabbed the tag designated as the power prize...

  • Do you have more Supermarket Sweep episodes?

  • I wish.

  • @gsn93 many people have supermarket sweep episodes

  • damn this show was quite cheap.

  • $5K is nothing these days.

  • I Liked It When Just The Host Says "Supermarket Sweep!"

  • Yellow team 3 is retarded for not going for any bonuses

  • When did teams 1 & 2 switch sweaters?

  • About 1993 when the show updated its logo. That was about the time I started keeping track of the bonus rounds too.

  • there are some episodes where they need to recycle cans and one episode i remember when they needed to find a particular flower boquet

  • I meant quieter or h/e you spell it

  • Wow, the music is quiter than normal...

  • That was a very good weep. With lots of big moneymakers scored & excitement. As for the bonus sweep the team looked like they wre staying calm & excited at the same time. I guess if your about to win a nice chunk of change there's reason to be excited. This was a nice episode with all of the money made & excitement the contestants had. As time was on the shows quality did not sink but things just seemed to wear out; I say lets enjoy things before they ever wear out. a 5 star episode I see here.

  • damn this was in 1992! i didnt know that. i use to love this show haha

  • Nice sweater on Ruprecht.

  • I never knew half the products on this show, mainly because of my youth, but still. MD toilet paper?

  • Together combined , all three teams scored $2,593 as one. That seems to be a lot

  • I kept track of every bonus round from 1993 to 2002. It's refreshing to see this one from '92. What day in December'92 did this air?

  • Teams 1 and 2 shirt colors are switched in the future episodes.

  • Or Any 1991 Episodes?

  • Or any episodes from the 1993-94 season?

  • Or even those 1990 eps.! In the 1990 eps., the sound effects were a lot different.

  • Do You Have Any With Mr.Yuck

  • Or any monster in the Sweep at all?

  • Make it a growing jackpot which starts @ $5K and increase it by that much until won with no limit to how high the Jackpot goes.

  • i like that idea

  • $10,000, plus $5,000 each day until won. Just $5,000 won't be enough.

  • Agreed!!!

  • I was thinking the same thing, truthfully. It's a great idea.

  • since last year, the GSN show Lingo has something similar. A progressive jackpot begins at $5,000, except it goes up by $1,000 each time it is not won, not $5,000

  • The progressive jackpot starts at $10,000.

  • The jackpot in Bonus Lingo started at $10,000, not $5,000.

  • I Second that thought!!!

  • If the show would be revived in the future, they'd probably play for $10,000 (at least that's what I'd go for if I were reviving it).

  • Or $10,000, plus $5,000 each day until won.

  • To zebra[cow-poop]:

Stupid spamming zebra, spamming elitist spam, red-shirted spam. Think you're so spamming cool. Spams me sick. "Let's go make fun of Supermarket Sweep and its crazy lifestyle."

    gsn93 ain't hurtin' anyone, zebra.

Go eat a hamburger and choke on a cow spleen.

  • With a freezing point of $50,000 meaning it cannot go higher than $50K.

  • Make that $1,000,000, even though nobody might reach it.

  • No freezing points.

  • Why a freezing point? I'd rather there be no freezing point.

  • Why do you want a freezing point? I'd rather the freezing point be $1,000,000, or no freezing point at all.
