Not really. And if he did I wouldn't care. A pick is a preference, not a hinderance. I personally can't use a pick to save my life. A lot of people just want to see finger style on CC bass cover because Alex Webster is pretty well know for his immense skills with just his fingers. They want to see other people try to do it.
