What's the point of constantly going around and just whipping everyone to death if you don't have a clear goal to look forward too. You're forgetting the fact that Zeus infected Heller with his 'current' strain of the virus. So all of the benefits that Zeus gained (consuming Greene, SH, immunity to Bloodtox, etc...) would have been transferred over to Heller as well. He just has to unlock certain abilities on his own.

Dana isn't dead. One of the pictures Radical released confirms that she and Heller will meet face to face at some point. (Unless something else killed/consumed her and took her form. I doubt it, but it's always a possibility.)
From the picture, she didn't exactly look too happy to see Heller. I think she'll be an ally though, and try to help Heller stop Zeus from whatever Armageddon-esque plans he's got going on. So she's still loyal to Zeus, but doesn't want him going full-blown evil.
I have no idea why he's controlling them, but the pic (which was an official pic from Radical) plus the ending of the Red Zone trailer pretty much proves that you'll have at least 2 Brawler allies in-game. (All those people that insisted that Heller was commanding the soldier can suck it!) I'm just assuming that he'll either be able to summon 2 random brawlers at some point, or during a mission, he'll do something that earns 2 Brawlers loyalty.

Zeus wasn't a good guy. He was just the character you play as. He does just as much 'bad' as he does 'good'. Sure, he saved the city from the nuke. But it was his fault that they were going to use the nuke anyway. So really, he was just fixing one of the problems he caused. Plus, Zeus kills plenty of innocent people. Good Guys don't do that. Zeus is a Bad Guy, he's just not pure evil.

@bawokoroma I actually disagree, i think Alex was a much more original character. No matter how it comes out, it sounds racist when you want Alex back as the main character. I don't like Heller because of how he's strictly a good guy. Ex military, missing his dead family and trying to kill the one who made him what he is now. Alex IS the virus. He has all of the powers given by the Virus. Not to mention he STOOD UP to blackwatch because he discovered Hope, Idaho. But Alex is good OR bad.

He probably thinks mercer is the bad guy but by the end i assume he finds out he was mistaken/used and he probably joins alex mercer. it's also possible that he literally joins with alex mercer, as he said in prototype 1 that he WAS the infection, and now it looks like the new protagonist is similar to alex. if alex is the bad guy in this game i will be disappointed, but it seems pretty obvious to me that he must be mistaken and he may have a change of heart midgame. character developement.
