its obvious that the sec is overrated. There is no clear cut dominate conference. Sec will have good years big 12 will have good years, every conference has good years. it all depends on the matchups some teams play well against certain types of defenses its just luck of the draw. if you have a team with a big defense they won't do good against the spread if u have a small speedy defense they'll have a tough time stoppin the power run offense.
Big 12 is much better than SEC. SEC has some good teams but running the ball over and over and finishing a game in '08 3-2...I would not pay for season ticket to see a 3-2 game, SEC scores are like baseball.

We'd already played 5 other top 25 teams including previously #2 ranked Kansas and Rose Bowl bound Illinois and we beat them all except Oklahoma.
Arkansas did something similar to what I would have done. They dropped guys back and made Missouri beat them with the run. Where they screwed up is that they dropped too many back. I don't think they respected Temple and that was stupid. He'd just broken the Sun Bowl rushing record the year before. We'd have whipped them but maybe not as bad.

Sounds good as long as OU and Tex dont come along. We're 4-0 in the last 4 years against the sec. Two of which were bowl games and we beat Ol Miss at their place just last year.
We averaged 498yds/gm and a 28-10 score in those four games. Its not the sec we struggle with.

We'd already played 5 other top 25 teams including previously #2 ranked Kansas and Rose Bowl bound Illinois and we beat them all except Oklahoma.
Arkansas did something similar to what I would have done. They dropped guys back and made Missouri beat them with the run. Where they screwed up is that they dropped too many back. I don't think they respected Temple and that was stupid. He'd just broken the Sun Bowl rushing record the year before. We'd have whipped them but maybe not as bad.
