well i went and looked at it... looks like a bunch of simple defects in the photo... if you look at the rest of the photo it's full of em... why wouldn't they show up in the other photos of that crater? the guy that made that video is more hopeful than knowledgeable IMO

plant life is perfectly capable of growing on mars theres CO2 and soil, moss and lichens can grow on a bare rock and turn its minerals into soil then other plants can grow from that. Lower atmospheric pressure doesnt matter plants can evolve to grow for that habitat, its above 0 at the equator most of the year. You are correct, plant life can exist on Mars. Scientists have grown plants in greenhouses with a simulated Martian Air Pressure, and guess what? Sprouts grew. CO2 is important to plantlife. Though Mars has little Oxygen, its probably because plant life is scarce, but its still there.

The reason, why all space agencies offer lower resolution for public consumption is the cost for server-bandwith. E.g. US govt maintains a contract with Akamai-Net. They bill taxpayers by consumed MBs. Since there is no reason to take a couple of exo-ufoistic crazies for serious, no space agency does ever comment crackpot claims.
I do have an academic background, but in a different field. If you mean img imq file formats, I have the relevant software and seen the pics, predominantly MER imagery. Not much better than publicly released jpgs. Anyway don't you think if the public demands better quality data, they should be given that data? Then you will get access to higher resolved data, taken from lower orbital heights. Currently, only about 5-10% of all planetary images are published due to fore mentioned bandwith-concerns. However, there are already HR-images in the public domain: apollo·sese·asu·edu digitized and published the whole Apollo 70mm library. ;-))

Those pictures are not clear enough to determine bullshit. That's like using a out-of-focus lens to look at something the size of earth and say theirs life because its blue. U need to send robots their and record live video and send it back, instead of using cameras that zoom in for miles and miles. Plus your looking at 2d images of 3rd dimensional objects. A simple shadow could throw off a rock, and make it look like a skull.

Download Google Earth and the Mars overlay. Search for Home Plate and zoom in, there you will see camera links to the Spirit Panoramic views inside and outside home plate. Zoom in the pictures and look around. You will be AMAZED!! There are many types of animals AND humanoids. Those are merely comments of what I believe I see in an image in order to make it more recognizable to people. Some have question marks and the word "possible". Comments are necessary since quality is not as that of original source due to video compression.

As incredible it may seem yes I believe that. What I see at 0:30 is a standing water lake. At 1:10 I see lakes surrounded by dense forest. There's a lot of odd anomalous imagery out there that shouldn't be ignored. Plus publicly released sat images are poor quality compared to Earth sat imagery which is strange. Mars pics are supposed to be crystal clear! Do you smell any rats?

What I mean is comparison b/ween say Google Earth and Mars released imagery. In GEarth one could see individual cars even people but if one compares that with Mars imagery its another story. So how come sat images of Earth are better quality than those of Mars? Camera systems used are same if not better for Mars. Yeah google earth pics are pretty good sometimes. Though i tried to look up my girlfriends and my best friends houses and they were both terrible. You couldn't make out roads or buildings or anything. And there's the fact that most people look at google earth casually for fun, and there are far far far less people looking at google mars, and the ones that do aren't exactly scientists, so there's no need.

I'm not sure it is "evidence". Now don't get me wrong I think these "anomalies" merit further investigation but there are plenty of instances where humans can read something into an image or situation that isn't actually there. One has to keep an open mind regarding the images, as they may just be natural artifacts that humans can interpret as being artificial, but then again you have to ask yourself why hasn't the scientists involved with these missions given explanation as to what they are, also why do the imaging dept have to crop and edit so much of the data.

The remaining biology on Mars has been kept secret for several decades in order to prevent the potential upsetting of the world religious systems because it shows evidence of a second genesis. But the main reason for the cover up is because it would lead to serious questions regarding the ET presense which poses a threat to our petroleum based economy. The trees and fossils are simply rocks arranged in such a way so as to cast familiar looking shadows...shadows which our brain is hard-wired to recognise as being human or of earthly origins. (E.g. O_O <--- looks like two eyes and a lip line...because our brain is programed to FORCIBLY recognise facial features).
Some of the pictures showing liquid can be given the benefit of the doubt e.g. the polar ring. The dam however, is NOT Martian! It is too earthly.
The rest of it is BS! Just rocks IMO

plant life is perfectly capable of growing on mars theres CO2 and soil, moss and lichens can grow on a bare rock and turn its minerals into soil then other plants can grow from that. Lower atmospheric pressure doesnt matter plants can evolve to grow for that habitat, its above 0 at the equator most of the year. Why are all the pictures NASA gives us so crappy and blurry it isnt 1940 we have better cameras then that.

You are correct, plant life can exist on Mars. Scientists have grown plants in greenhouses with a simulated Martian Air Pressure, and guess what? Sprouts grew. CO2 is important to plantlife. Though Mars has little Oxygen, its probably because plant life is scarce, but its still there.

Humanoid, if you have an academic background in the space industry, feel free to register at NASA/JPL and you will get access to genuine high resolution data. The reason, why all space agencies offer lower resolution for public consumption is the cost for server-bandwith. E.g. US govt maintains a contract with Akamai-Net. They bill taxpayers by consumed MBs. Since there is no reason to take a couple of exo-ufoistic crazies for serious, no space agency does ever comment crackpot claims.

I do have an academic background, but in a different field. If you mean img imq file formats, I have the relevant software and seen the pics, predominantly MER imagery. Not much better than publicly released jpgs. Anyway don't you think if the public demands better quality data, they should be given that data? After all its them who paid for all those missions and they surely may afford to pay for bandwidth as well? Does this make sense to you at all?

HumanoidBG, either you fill in the online registration-form on NASA/JPL's planetary website, or you ask your university-librarian for the subscription credentials. Then you will get access to higher resolved data, taken from lower orbital heights. Currently, only about 5-10% of all planetary images are published due to fore mentioned bandwith-concerns. However, there are already HR-images in the public domain: apollo·sese·asu·edu digitized and published the whole Apollo 70mm library. ;-))

Those pictures are not clear enough to determine bullshit. That's like using a out-of-focus lens to look at something the size of earth and say theirs life because its blue. U need to send robots their and record live video and send it back, instead of using cameras that zoom in for miles and miles. Plus your looking at 2d images of 3rd dimensional objects. A simple shadow could throw off a rock, and make it look like a skull.

This is very intriguing. I remember hearing on a show that rectangles, triangles, etc are not formed by nature and the fact that they're found on Mars is pretty startling. As if something was built there before.
Some things on here are questionable (I read that the faces was caused by something I don't remember...) but we definitely need more trips to Mars. I don't know how people can believe in ghosts but not in another species on a different planet. Hell! we have how many species on earth?

Download Google Earth and the Mars overlay. Search for Home Plate and zoom in, there you will see camera links to the Spirit Panoramic views inside and outside home plate. Zoom in the pictures and look around. You will be AMAZED!! There are many types of animals AND humanoids. On the inside view try to find the Priest like humanoid with grey hair, bald on top nealing before a large Face figure with big ears. It is so clear and unbelievable, check it out yourselves!!

Those are merely comments of what I believe I see in an image in order to make it more recognizable to people. Some have question marks and the word "possible". Comments are necessary since quality is not as that of original source due to video compression.

As incredible it may seem yes I believe that. What I see at 0:30 is a standing water lake. At 1:10 I see lakes surrounded by dense forest. There's a lot of odd anomalous imagery out there that shouldn't be ignored. Plus publicly released sat images are poor quality compared to Earth sat imagery which is strange. Mars pics are supposed to be crystal clear! Do you smell any rats?

What I mean is comparison b/ween say Google Earth and Mars released imagery. In GEarth one could see individual cars even people but if one compares that with Mars imagery its another story. So how come sat images of Earth are better quality than those of Mars? Camera systems used are same if not better for Mars. Plus consider Mars less dense atmosphere, less cloud cover, much closer ground distance of sats on Mars compared to Earth sats. So why are we getting shit Mars pics but clear Earth pics

And talk about conspiracy but there is actually quite obvious(in almost all images) tampering/obfuscation techniques present in Mars MGS data and not just there. ESA images are total disappointment since they've chosen to release completely false color/computerized renderings instead of the real thing. I mean I want to see Mars as I'm seeing Earth thru Google! What the hell are they trying to hide? Mars geology? It doesen't make sense to me!

Yeah google earth pics are pretty good sometimes. Though i tried to look up my girlfriends and my best friends houses and they were both terrible. You couldn't make out roads or buildings or anything. And there's the fact that most people look at google earth casually for fun, and there are far far far less people looking at google mars, and the ones that do aren't exactly scientists, so there's no need.

As a matter of fact yes, I'm not happy with Mercury imaging but anyway I thought we"re discussing Mars pics here. Cost of quality? What do you mean? They have the money to send sats there but not enough money for a decent quality cam?

Ever heard of MGS MOC image data or MarsExpress imagery? These are the same images scientists look at as well as you and me. So whenever I want to have a look I would go to the official sites containing that data, not Google Mars.

hey if your so damn sure these unusual images are just tricks of light then go to google earth go to places on earth like the gobi desert, sahara, new mexico whatever and find things on earth that resemble those images and show us with your own vid that these things can be just tricks of light by comparing them with the mars anomilies. its real easy to put down anothers evidence when you have none of your own!

I could. I dont want to. If you want my advice, go to Google Earth and look up "New Hope Mississippi" or "Fernbank Alabama".
Its a green and grey mush and you can draw all the pictures you want from there.
Or, find a ceiling with a sponge-pulled paint pattern on it. You can stare at it and eventually begin to see pictures.
When you look at clouds, do you honestly believe you see a rabbit (or whatever you see)?

I'm not sure it is "evidence". Now don't get me wrong I think these "anomalies" merit further investigation but there are plenty of instances where humans can read something into an image or situation that isn't actually there. We are talking about an alien planet here so its very difficult to say what is natural and what isn't. Definitely need more missions to Mars though!

An other thing that doesn't add up is why we always get to see pictures of the surface of Mars and never streaming video. They can not make me belief that this technology is not applicable for rovers or that they do not know how to make this happen. If i were an american citizen i would try to protest for shutting NASA down or to level up and tell the truth to the people who pay these scientist their wages..

This is cool stuff and I would love to see the day when they discover life on mars. I find what appear to be buildings in the Hale crator to be the most intersting.
But, why would NASA post edited, blurred images on the web to hide the truth when they could just not post anything instead so that way we won't get any clues?

NASA missions are paid for by the public and therefore are public property so they are obliged by law to publicly release those images.

One has to keep an open mind regarding the images, as they may just be natural artifacts that humans can interpret as being artificial, but then again you have to ask yourself why hasn't the scientists involved with these missions given explanation as to what they are, also why do the imaging dept have to crop and edit so much of the data.
I strongly recomend viewers to visit mr skippers site to see just how vast this conspiracy realy is.

If you would watch pic's from the NASA marsrover site and take a good watch to the panorama pictures you'll discover so many many thing that you even can't believe. Ever saw a randomly generated skull in nature, what about multiple skulls? just watch very good and youĺl find. Or a exactly an edge of a box with a hole in the corner trough the wall of the box. These things can't just appear bij nature. PM me and I'll give you a bunch of pictures with very strange things to see, you can deny.
