  • Great song! It sounds kind of similar to Hallelujah, but this song seems to have a somewhat softer sound than Hallelujah, if I'm not mistaken. :)

  • Heavy-set guy with legs spread is the legendary Lee Michaels' drummer Frosty (Bartholmew Frost). One of the best drummers of that era. Extraordinarily fast foot on the bass drum -- listen to the long Lee Michaels medley on Lee's third album where Frosty takes one of the most creative and musical drum solos recorded. Unfortunately, Sweathog was one of many bands mining this type of music. I thought they were great -- but they just got lost in the tonnage of music released at this time.

  • still have this album. listen to it often

  • I always give pie a run for it's "money"

  • Saw these guys open for Humble Pie in San Diego in the spring

of 72' and these dudes gave The Pie a real run for their money.

I can just see Steve Marriott getting a tad nervous watching Lenny Lee

go ballistic behind that Hammond B3 HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is this the single version of this cover? I have the self titled "Sweathog" LP also, and the version that appears there is 4 minutes in length, which is over 1 minute longer than the version in your video. I may upload the LP version in the not too distant future...thanks for the inspiration :)

  • Thanks klbrist! I posted this on Facebook, on the Sweathog Fan Page.
