  • This is so faking dumb.

  • STRIKE A POSE! VOGUE... lol

  • vader not as cool as cylon.

    case closed

  • how the fuck do you choke a robot ??

  • @aoj211

    Because He Can!!!!!!

  • @TheMindMaster6 he isn't magneto...

  • Vader:YOU SCHMUCKS STOLE MY LOOK!!!!

    Cylon:Negative,you stole ours.

  • I liked it :-)

  • LLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLL what is Alien doing at he background? Is this a sci-fi party?

  • These aren't the droids you're looking for.

  • cyclons would kill stormtroopers in a fight but then cyclons would fall down when they go to get prize they were fighting over

  • Well, theoretically speaking, nobody can stand up to Vader as an opponent, his force powers give him too much of an advantage. Only real opponent would be someone with similar powers, another jedi or sith.

  • @Zamolxes77 or chuck norris. BUT, thats why darth vader is in a different universe. the battle would be too epic.

  • the best bit was the alien walking out at the start...... CLASSIC! just had a 70s scifi nerdgasm.....

  • You can't force-choke a robot.

  • they both lose, because Cavil destroys them both.

  • oh storm troopers would be all like....oh FML.

  • BY YOUR COMMAND

  • Use The Force Annie!

  • Meh. Cylon versus Vader versus Tony Blair-worshipping squaddies, as an allegory for doomed capitalism, for the fate of Iran... then I'd be interested.

  • Cylon you don't know the true power of the darkside... I am the darkside, you're not my commander!

  • dude needs to work on his unsheathing

  • he just needs to use force push and the cyclon would fall over and not be able to get up!

  • Next, we need Malcolm Reynolds vs. Darth Vader.

  • LMAO

  • Force lightning short circuits the Cylons; Force push; no more Cylons.

  • Why did cylons carry swords if they can't even draw them?

  • @UpcomingJedi Sad pathetic wannabe humans :/

  • @UpcomingJedi I've always wondered why stormtroopers wear armor that doesn't work.

  • @UpcomingJedi thats why the scrap the sword thingie in the new series

  • Cylon with a sword? BLASPHEMY!

  • @Network23549 some did carry swords in the original series. They also had bayonetes on their rifles.

  • @starsiegeplayer I did not know that THAT IS AWESOME <333

  • That was epic.

  • lame-o!!

  • @kludge000 i thought on the next scene the cylon was going to stick his sword in vaders ass and then the cylon was going to get poked by vaders sword. lame -o

  • Silly sith, you cant choke a robot....

  • kindy of cheesy the way they were moving.

  • HOLY SHIT THIS IS HARDCORE!

  • I was going to say the same thing... NERDS!!!

However, I'd be the first to put on a costume like this too! I'm a NERD and proud of it!

  • by your command

  • LoL cylon FAIL at drawing sword.. sorry i mean dagger vs lightsaber ^.^

  • ok so whats the cylon suit made of and how hard wuz it to move in i wonder?i hear stories about how the actors coulnt move at all in them and i know full platemail isnt hard to move in..

  • GAY

  • I feel like I'm playing one of those video games."choose your fighter".Round one..."FIGHT!"

  • Wow stupidest frakin thing ive seen in a while..

  • Darth vader would shove the cylons head up his arse!

  • The alien in the background looked funny and lonely!

  • the empire would rip the cylons apart

  • Darth would mess up that Cylon lol

  • "Dark" Vader?

  • ein lichtschwert ist besser , als eine eisenwaffe ;-))))

  • What in the hell was that, it was so pointless and stupid i dont even know if i'll logg into youtube again...

  • @Flamo353 , that was one of the gayest things ive ever seen

  • there are two versions of the BSG pilot movie. the first one with a beheaded baltar, cause they don´t knew if the movie would be a success.cause it was a succes they show us a different version of the movie on tv with a unheaded baltar...cause now they could make the show and they needed baltar for the story.

  • NNNNNNEEEERRRRRRRRDDSSSSSSSS!!!!! LOL. Not gonna lie. I'm a fan of both.

  • 2 guys who don't get laid

  • Lame

  • Cyclons had swords, as a matter of fact one cyclon was about drew his to kill Balter in the movie

  • Um, Cylons never used swords.

  • Yes, they did. They beheaded Baltar with a sword.

  • stupid. the centurions dont fight with swords

  • Did you see the original movie in 1978? They beheaded Baltar with a sword.

  • Yes I did. But normally they use laser pistols. And I think a metal sword is no match for a laser sword.

  • viroblade

  • But in the series he was un-beheaded. Or, was the Baltar in the series a resurrected Cylon skin job?

  • I find it comical. Especially the Alien walking around all casual like.

But you are geeks, there is no doubt about it.

I bet you sweat when you watch Star Wars

  • NERDS,..VIRGINS!

  • noobs

  • AWSOME!

  • lame

  • The b est part was how the alien at the beginning turned around to make a secondtake. shit fucking stu[[d

  • fail

  • Was this done at the San Diego Comic Con?

  • light sabre should just slice right through that crappy sword.

  • What if the sword was Cortosis?

  • yea really

or a sword like the electro-staffs that greivous' body gaurds carried

  • Wanna know what I think would be awesome? A battle scene between of an army of Cylons and Stormtroopers against each other. And like I may have said before at some point, Cylons kind of remind me of Stormtroopers.

  • a poll was taken and 64% of the fans said the Cylons will kick the Stormtroopers and Tie fighters butts big time.

  • I also remember one time, I was watching an episode of the original Battlestar series which there was an on foot fighting scene with Cylons and several of the Galactica crew members fighting against each other, and Dad comes into the living room and is all, "What's on? Stormtroopers against fighter pilots, or something"? Pretty funny huh?

  • @quarqill Well 64 % of the fans are full of shit. Cylons lumber around...they'd never blast the enemy dead in under a minute and charge at high speed down a corridor like the storm troopers did on Princess Leia's blockade runner. A TIE fighter could easily outrun a Cylon raider, the Cylons never had AT-ATs, speeder bikes and I've never seen a Cylon Base Star blow an entire planet up.

  • @TomthatiscalledTom

aw comeon you geek take it easy

  • @TomthatiscalledTom Well the cylons can actually run faster than any human can.....I think. and the fighters have freaking nukes so I think they have a bit of an advantage against tie fighters.

    P.S. Who really cares anyway?

  • @quarqill Jeez.. wouldn't you expect a pro-BSG bias when you polled BSG fans...?

  • @quarqill thats because the consensus was taken from predominantly bsg fans.

  • 1978 Battlestar galactica is the best sci fi series ever.

  • Well duh.

  • lol couldnt draw his sword

  • shouldn't it be a cylon versus a storm trooper?

and whats with "cylon" not being able to remove his "sword"? whats he got bad programming lol

  • Should be, but the Cylons were very obviously patterned after Darth Vader, at least in the shape of the helmet, especially the mouth area. Some people even mistook Cylons for Star Wars characters for their 'Vader look'

  • star wars came out BEFORE galactica.....

  • I know SW came out before Galactica, that's why I mentioned that the CYlons were obviously inspired by Darth Vader, at least in the helmet. The battle sequences, ships and overall feel was made to please fans that had lined up in the previous year for Star Wars and since this was the years prior to the home video era, it would be a long wait, so Universal did the smart thing and make their own 'war in space' series. Though it BSG is more than simply a SW clone.

  • Se the Alien stroll by in the background! LOL!

  • cylons could jus nuke dv to death lol

  • now we need a wookie screaming leewoy jenkins

  • Ohh my Bad I thought The title of This video Was "TWO VIRGINS SWAP SWORDS" my bad

  • lmao

  • That was really lame.

  • Would have ebeen funny if Jar Jar showed up and they both ganged up on him !

  • Yes, because Cylons can be force-choked...

What with them being machines and all...

  • Something about the alien in the backround makes it uber hilarious...

  • ahahahah. And the Alien behind the cylon gets away from their presence to do something more usefull.

  • was that a pig at the end bitching about the Cylons sword?

  • Okay..this one is simply nice!!^^^^ But I would bet my whole salary on vader!!^^

  • I'm amused by the Xenomorph wandering past in the background

  • ho,ho very funny!!! a wonderful meet!

    Cylon: not at your command

Lord Vader: You don´t know the power of the dark side.

Cylon: Prepare for .... WTF, somebody help me with my sword?

Count Baltar?: yes sir, I am Gaddly to serve you!

Cylon: later I deal with you, silly human, first I will go against the strongest and then I will destroy you at all.

Lord Vader: you seem to be a general I met at the clone wars, my teacher was responsible for it, now I will do it with you.

Lord Vader: I Use the Force

  • Why is it that people write these little transcripts for what they "think" the two on screen characters said, when what is written is so incredibly tedious, not funny and littered with poor English?

  • Jajajajajaja..... que wea mas ñoña.... hay que ser muy nerd!!!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA:-D! VERY FUNNY;-D!

  • how can you choke a robot?

  • I cant believe how LAME this is. Talk about half-hearted, not even half...quarter!

    Waste of time

  • That is totally cool! Sci-Fi conventions are da bomb! I'm still waiting for one to appear in Hawai'i, so I can wear my (still in the making) Tusken Raider costume! The closest we got something like that was the opening of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" in town this past aug. 15th and the 501st Pacific Region made a showing with over 15 stormtroopers and one Darth Vader. Halloween would do it, but that's too far off from now. We need more "Geek fests"! (ha! Ha!)

  • My lord...how incredibly geeky was that!!!???

  • 2 of the best sci fi bad guys ever, but I give the edge to the cylons.

  • Love this video.

  • I love sci-fi. conventions. :)

  • Cylon I´m your father!

  • To which the Cylon replied: "Have to first check with the manual about fathers!"

  • It's very nice seeing people having fun in a nice way. The funniest moment is when the Cylon tries to take his sword out of the sheath, he goes half stuck in the movement, may be some oil was missing in the joints, lol.

  • LOL the Alien is walking out the door at the begining

  • You can't throat choke a cylon IT HAS NO THROAT

  • HAHAHAHA:-D! VERY FUNNY;-D!

  • Oh my god that was exciting. I have to sit down.

  • The Cylon is cool but vader is a gimp.

  • This fight started when Darth Vader accused the Cylon of ripping off his helmet design.

Can the force be used to "choke" a cylon? I wasn't aware they breathed.

  • Sci-fi can be cool, and it is fun to ask, "what if"... but that was just about gay.

  • why does a cylone have a sword

  • The original Cylons had swords. That was part of the costume dressing.

  • thanks i haven't seen the original series yet

  • You should see the original series... they're both cheesy and wonderful. Late 70's sci-fi designs are much more original and creative than 21st century stuff. Same with Star Trek and Star Wars. It's fun to see what BSG did with a low budget and cheesy writing compared with George Lucas and still made something people remember after 30 years. Most Sci-fi series aren't remembered that long.

  • How was the 70s Battlestar Galactica cheesy as far as writing's concerned? Was it as cheesy as Star Wars? I don't get it and I'm serious about this.

    -R78

  • It was the censors, my friend. Back then, they seemed to have ridiculously vast power over everything that ran across the airwaves. They influenced the show's producers to make classic BSG more 'family friendly' for prime time viewing. Heh heh....And you saw how that turned out......

  • I understand that classic Galactica's heavy themes were compromised by censorship...I get that dude...there's no question about it. However, the current mentality of condemning it as cheesy, campy, kitschy, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH to be highly overexaggerating. That's what bothers me.

  • Got to agree with you! As a kid I loved BSG. Those were the days when you couldn't simply watch a Star Wars DVD. It was all kids had in the days of 13 Chanels and VCR's that only the rich could afford. I see it now as classic. The series is actually still quite visually impressive, with space battle sequences at par with the original SW trilogy. Sure it's dated, but when compared to shows like Space:1999, Logan's Run and Six Million Dollar Man, it's miles ahead.

  • Well who else did those amazing space battles for classic BSG other than John Dykstra whose famous for making the visual effects for the old SW trilogy to begin with?

    -R78

  • Yes, and they were very expensive and time-consuming. That's why BSG was noted for re-using shots over and over again. Still quite impressive, though TV didn't do it justice. I actually favoured the ships from BSG. The Cylon ships seemed more aerodynamic and the Vipers had a more streamlined look.

  • @jayanxiety ....yeah you nailed it in one whole comment...i was 8 in 78 (just saw Star Wars the yr before) kids in the70's were absolutely psyched for ANYTHING that resembled SW and BSG (along Buck Rogers) was it. yeah there weren't DVD's or even VHS (or Beta lol) ..which was part of the reason that BSG was such a event at the time..and in comparsion to other stuff at the time (especially the bad imitators like "Starcrash" "Battle Beyond the Stars and Space Raiders) it stills holds up very well.

  • Please don't get wrong pal....I'm fully aware that the later plots were juvenile and cliched...I GET THAT...I know it got heavily cheesed in the end.BELIEVE ME...I saw Galactica 1980...I GET THAT. I am not misguided...at all....My point is that despite those flaws, the acting was believable, the drama was believable, the tension was believable...the space battles were believable...Not Newtonian believable, but they're believable.

  • Allow me to jump in here friend's! I just adored the old BSG to no end! It was hip,it was well written,it was exciting and most of all...IT WAS FUN!!!!! I just cant tolerate the shows these day's that are so darn serious....and philosophy driven.UGGHHHH!! And,...and...need I dare get into just how awesome the opening theme music to that show was??? Do t.v. shows now a days even have opening music??LOL!! Every single time I will go for the older stuff!! The shows just made you feel so good then!

  • Yeah dude....I get the story, but it's not that bad. It wouldn't be fair to compare it with the 60s Batman TV show unless you want to compare it with Buck Rogers....Do I need to go there with that particular show?

  • I know that every fanboy and high-in-all critics are so gung-ho w/ that revamp BSG that's about to make a final bow, and just how great and perfect it is and etc. To be fair....I like the new one mind you, but it's NOT in anyways 'PERFECT' or 'ORIGINAL'. There are some things about it that looks awkward. Like the 'Frak' and 'Oh My Gods' phrases...stuff like that on that show that didn't feel right.

  • Indeed, in a certain way it is no longer SciFi as many scenes are just American present with space ships. You wouldn't think that these people were from a different world. And very few characters are actually likable.

  • Dude...I didn't even bother to watch the series finale of New Galactica. I've heard and read the spoilers...I've heard a lot of fans thought it was a cop-out, but I don't mind anyway b/c I don't even care. The very thought of RDM's colonial fleet and cylons going tribal when they settled on our Earth, and found out that the whole thing took place in ancient times in which the atmosphere looks like present-day just kills the illusion of believabilty, and RDM making a cameo just nuked it.

    -R78

  • But it was already beyond credibility that everything was so present-day American, from politics, to cigarettes, to military nonsense, the overuse of frakk (which occurred only 17times in the old series). I still enjoyed watching it through and I liked the finale. Especially since it lft open whether the story would repeat itself.

  • All the power to you for digging the finale. I'm glad to hear someone like you didn't feel cheated, for it was probably in hinsight that kind of ending would've turned out like that anyway. It's inevitable the show will we watched countless times by it's loyal fanbase. Sci-Fi Channel's gonna make sure of that when air their TV-movie prequel later on this year. I mean hey...it's BSG's crack money.

    -R78

  • It's funny that you've mentioned that it's no longer SF......b/c whenever that I get off from work and go home. I take a load off on Friday night and watch it on cable and think nothing of it after that b/c watching the New BSG was like watching Desperate Housewives...I've viewed it, eat my dinner, drink my water, and move on to other activities. You get stagnated after that. Not worth discussing about it with fans unless they develop a housewife nesting instinct like Hyacinth Bucket.

    -R78

  • That's the problem with the show...it tries too hard to be 'overly-modern' with the times. That's why that some of the episodes tend to be boring, pretentious, and repetitive. This show reminds me of another SF war drama that I really wish it didn't get cancelled which is SPACE: ABOVE AND BEYOND....Heard of it? b/c that's exactly what the New BSG has tried to be. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it...I just felt that it's a rip-off within a rip-off...It's decent..but it's not original.

    -R78

  • Furthermore, BSG didnt have a low budget back then.

  • The only time I've seen them use them is in a deleted scene, but oh, well.

  • In the original series, the Cylons would BEHEAD the captured humans with the swords.

In the original BSG movie, Baldar was beheaded instead of getting a pass and allowed to live and command the Cylon Deathstar in pursuit of the humans.

  • I thought in the Original Series, The human Baltar was beheaded and then replaced by a cylon Baltar created in his likeness to lead the cylons in the persuit of the Galactica?

  • As far as I remember, Baltar lived because he made a deal to lead the Cylons in pursuit of the remaining Colonialist, since he was human and able to think like them.

In the movie, he was offed as soon as the attack was completed on the colonies. He came for his reward, and got something he wasn't expecting.

  • In the pilot movie, Baltar was beheaded on the spot. When integrated into the series, he was ordered for execution, then the Cylon leader was killed and his successor spared Baltar.

  • I remember that! When I saw the orignal theatrical film (edited from three episodes and blown up to 35mm), Baltar was killed. For the series, they showed the entire sequence where Baltar is spared. Talk about rewriting history. Not sure if the theatrical film is even canon.
