I don't know who you mean by "we". The Africans brought here in the slave trade weren't Jewish and didn't practice a Judeo-Christian religion. This is one of the things used against them to make the brutality of the slave masters seem more morally acceptable. The Africans were dubbed "heathens" which helped the Christian Europeans justify the inhuman treatment of them. They were being "brought to God" and the Judeo-Christian religion was forced on them.

As for the name, English-speaking people refer to the continent as "Africa". Just as Spanish-speaking peoples refer to the United States as "Los Estados Unidos". We're speaking English, so we say "Africa". As a presumably English-speaking American that's likely the only name for it you are even aware of. Africa was never named "the land of Ham".

"Khem" simply means black. "Khemet"/"Kemet" was one of the names for Egypt. It was not the name for Africa. "Africa" is how the land is identified by us English speakers today. Whatever you want to call the place, that's from where we descend. The wording doesn't matter as far as that's concerned.

It's likely that most if not all the New Testament was written through and through by White people. Although who wrote what doesn't really matter. The books of the Bible were compiled, edited, translated, edited, revised, and edited by White people. So even if some books in the Old Testament were originally written by Black Hebrews it wouldn't mean much. The end result is still a predominantly White book. Given to you by White people.
