i will ALWAYS prefer tsukasa over rui. sure rui was the guy who was there for tsukushi whenever she was down but remember domyouji's love for her stood the test of time, distance, "tragedy" (ken's case), amnesia, evil mothers, and future girlfriends. his feelings surpassed everything and anything. while rui's, i'm not sure. maybe if shizuka would return to him & returned his love, he'll most likely prefer her over makino. again. but tsukasa, well, just keeps coming back to her NO MATTER WHAT.

well the reason she didn't choose him was that she loved tsukasa more.. and the movie did it differently than the anime cause in the anime, rui was still in love with shizuka and those two end up together.

i liked both the anime and this version though :) and i thought the acting was great. they chose a great cast who looked and acted similar to the original story :D

I think that in last part Tsukushi (4:02)was from last episode hana yori dango 2. It's when Tsukushi went searching for Yuki in blizzard and fall asleep and Rui in 4:04 was from first episode Hana yori dango. Sorry for my bad english.
