Ok definitely this is a new way, but it is not 3ashe al sara. you could call it something else, like "ashtasaya". Also, I think that it is very dangerous to burn the sugar because it might turn cancerous. Anyhow, Regards and nice video

Thanks nimbostratue for your comment...i would appreciate it if you send me the "correct" 3aish el saraya recipe if you have a good one....this is the only i know how to make it . i assure you, it is not dangerous at all to burn the sugar and then add water to it, the sugar is not BURNT at all, it is only carmalized! ...you just have to be careful to get it the right color :)

Hi Peral, i used this kind that is sold in the stores, already toasted white bread...but you can use your everyday regular white toast, then you toast it in the toaster or the oven to your liking.
