  • josh did the mj on one foot

  • hamered with that SHIN !

  • Hammer!

  • josh kosheck you are one ugly motherfucker... you must soak your hair in PISS every morning

  • @analagony That's probably the best thing i've ever heard written about kosckeck,thumbs up,hahahaha

  • @bstrdmissed right on man hahaha im glad someone actually read it lol

  • Im away to watch that fight now. ALVES FOR THE WIN!

  • die motherfucker

  • AH

  • I've been doing Muay Thai for quite some times, and there'd be days where we'd do a whole hour of just kicking each other in the legs! So painful! I had bruises all over my legs, and one time I had to call my mom to come get me because I couldn't even walk to my car! LOL still cracks me up thinking about that! My mom was NOT pleased :D

  • @killerkdawg88 still you have to love the pain, right? That's something people who don't do any kind of MA do not understand.

(I've to admitt I wasn't bruised that bad that I could not walk to my car ever but I know pain from training very well)

  • he had the chance to punch him in the face.

  • The low kick is very painful to the one who is hit, if done properly. But very painful to the one who does it, if contrarrested properly.

  • Anyone who's ever taken a low kick (a really good one that lands at that spot right above the knee where the IT band is) knows that there are no words to describe how painful it is!

  • I hate getting kicked there, you know what sort of kinda not really helps it... I have a foam roller thingy, it's hard to explain but just look it up on youtube. It helps your IT band alot, along with other parts of your body =D Leg kicks still hurt btw... But it helps stretch out your IT band =D

  • @ChamorruWarrior Yeah I know what you're talking about. I've seen others use it and it might not be a bad idea for me to invest in one :)

  • You can get one at Walmart for like $15. I've done martial arts for a while, and sometimes kicking and weird positions with your legs in Jujitsu can hurt your knees. Your IT band's flexability has alot to do with how well your knee is. It helped me so much, I do not know any normal stretches or excersies to help stretch out your IT band, so it's great! Get one! =D

  • god daym...

  • @wakko380 I WISH St. Pierre had a leg kick like Alvez, unless u were just complimenting george out of context.

  • Nice one George, you showed that shaven yeti who's the real champion :)

  • Comment removed

  • i am thai boxer i knoe how that hurts ;D

  • @SirDark93 I hate the low kicks, but i like using them.. they're evil :x

  • thumbs up if you cant stop watching this video...

  • SO that must look like!

  • thiago alves

  • jeromme labanner ??

  • @MegaRom33 if that was jerome le banner his leg would be amputated!

  • Never saw a more deserving kick, lol.

  • lo agarro justo con la pierna levantada

  • essa doeu kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • gsp beat the shit out of these two

  • @Sal3600

He didn't "beat the shit out of" Alves... Alves did pretty well.

  • @chiconspiracy just sayin...as in defeated them

  • I would turn my hips more than he did

  • @kamillyba shut the fuck up

  • @kamillyba I would fight better than he did... easy to say from my lounge room... fucking dick head!!!

  • That was beautiul.

  • @Andypotent those were exactly the words that went through my mind

  • Joe Rogan probably jacked off to this later.

  • @mmafan130 I fuckin' jacked off to that later!

  • hell yea the kick was even better cause it was done on Koscheck

  • ukkkar zur urdi amo

  • Bas does iit like this but this is only useful if you have good hips. The hips is were all the Torque comes from. And basically the groin in connection with the hips causes it all to stereach like a rubberband thus creating a very torquey kick, but it has to all done perfectly in motion as u can see like a slicing effect as my muay thai coach explains.

  • Bones Leg Kicks On Shogun Looked Cooler

  • lol I remember this fight. Alves owned Kos badly. primarily because Kos was having a "K-1 Matt Hughes" complex for lack of a better term and fancied himself an elite striker just because he has heavy hands. lmfao the joke was on Kos tho, because all he was doing was challenging Alves at his own game and Kos got battered around for three straight rounds.

  • REMOVE GOOGLE ADVERTISEMENTS.

  • @tehlitepker Thiago Alves

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk nem doeu neh koscheck

  • I will always give a thumbs up to kos getting kicked

  • ramasse ta jambe lol

  • What I especially like about this, is that he actually jabs to set up the kick. Too few MMA-fighters set up their kicks with jabs, and it's a beautiful thing to see it done right.

  • Brasileira aqui comentando *-*

  • @doperapper26 you are joking right. that was one of he most one sided fights i have ever seen. he was lucky alves didn't finish him

  • tinha q da otro chute na cabeça na sequencia, ele abriu demais a guarda=p apoksakops

  • vicious

  • и в чем прикол?

  • NASTY leg kick. thats maximum torque at its finest. i'd like to see how Kos was walking the day after that fight lol

  • what fight is this

  • @cyber8000 UFC 90 This is Tiago Alves and Josh Koscheck

  • Words couldn't even begin to describe...

  • pitbull Alves is a beast!!!

  • 0:10 Farcry2 na tyłku :D

  • PERFECT!

  • Great leg kick!

  • I think the commentator wants to get hammered with that shit.

  • All you guys talking about perfect technique (re: talking out of your asses) remember this important fact: all that matters in MMA is EFFECTIVENESS, period. Alves is one of the most effective fighters in the world with his kicks.

  • who threw the kick? what's his name?

  • @ProSkilllz Thiago Alves is his name

  • Beautiful

  • pfff, these don't count

  • hahaha alves wanted to kick a second time...joke cockshackes leg would break without doubt

  • that kick would had made me do a flip

  • Why are u hating on americans , without their entertaiment world would be a boring place ... Ty good old americans for hollywood , ufc and charlie sheen ....

  • @MadeInBosina you stupid fool ufc was INTRODUCED by the Gracies=BRAZILIANS. america provides the media.

  • @doctorsizzle Thank you very much for that information ... It will change the course of my life ...

  • @MadeInBosina lol! your response was funny.

  • he has one of the best kicks

  • you know koscheck felt that one haha

  • it`s true, the U.S. can`t kick for shit, al the really know is boxing an wrestling

  • @flipmarty

It's true that K1 and Muay Thai isn't big at all in the US, which is a shame, but you could also say the Dutch and Thais can't box or wrestle "for shit". For MMA purposes, boxing and wrestling are more important than kicking anyway.

  • @chiconspiracy you could say that... it just wouldn`t be true.

the netherlands produces a lot of well rounded hitters and kickers.

also judo is very big but they won`t go near mma that`s all.

  • Ha awesome kick ! :D would of been much cooler had he finished it with a superman punch nice

  • Good Job Kos, nice balance

  • take that koscheck

  • That is a textbook lowkick.really well done.No wonder Rogan is impressed because most guys in mma don´t know how to do it at proper way

  • respect for all fighters, a good low kick indeed, Dutch style, thai do not focus on low kicks, too much injury, they fight weekly ...but who cares a good low kock is a good low kick. These hilarious US commentators bother me.."on the flesh of the leg..", a low kick hits the leg muscle and destabilizes, you can`t train endurance, need to block, also painful btw.

  • omg his foot is died xD

  • he was gonna kick kos again

  • Good Thai style Low kick.

  • Muay Thai style.

  • this is a muay thai outside i think

  • Okay, I thought it was going to be a video of something odd or special that happened, and it's a regular lowkick. I know a proper lowkick is somewhat uncommon among mma fighters, whose kickboxing skills are generally mediocre at best, but still, why not mark this video a little better?

  • what is his name i always forget it..

  • @danielhaighton Thiago Alves.

  • @LAVALLEE1991 thank you i always think thiago silva or alves hahaha thx

  • The meat of the leg gets hammered with that SHIT! AHAHHA

  • @HRFlizard shin

  • @HRFlizard it was hammered with that shin you dick

  • lol @ farcry 2

  • damn that would have droped anybody else

  • Wow that's like perfect, textbook technique. Gotta give respect to Kos though, the guy can take a beating.

  • @MatrixMedal2 the only thing i'll respect for taking a beating a damn heavybag. if a man doesn't know how to reduce the amount of damage he receives in a match...shit, man...it's time to taking applications for another job.

  • @lilrob433412172 This was late in the third round, thiago already kicked the shit out if josh before this kick

  • why is it better to attack the upper leg with a lowkick instead of the knee?

  • @Krankyism Bone on bone. It's going to hurt you and won't be half as effective.

  • @Krankyism @FireProMMA na not rly

if u hit from the side or with a frontkick while the leg is elongated the knee will be totally destroyed

therefor in sport like ufc and even in muay thai it is forbidden to attack the knee like u would do in selfdefence systems like krav maga which is no sport but total destruction of ur opponent

  • I WANT TO DO THIS TO SOME ONE I KNO :)

  • Is this Bill Goldberg commentating?

  • UFC is soo funny. They talk as if that was amazing stuff. Outside of USA proper techniques are used all the time :) Whether it be Thai or Holland or any other non USA kick or attack for that burger.

  • @fleshtheworld I know but striking technique like this isn't shown very often in MMA so for an mma fight its pretty good. And the dude who gave the kick is a very good striker with amazing kicks in all of his fights.

  • @fleshtheworld well then obviously you don't know who these people are and have never stepped in a ring.

  • @fleshtheworld

And in Holland or Thailand, they make make piss poor boxing seem like amazing stuff. But in the USA, it's used all the time. Moron, this is MMA. Most foreign MMA fighters don't kick this well either.

  • @chiconspiracy in holland have greats box skill in k-1 or muay thai figths dont be a asshole

  • @MMACommando

I was replying to someone who said that "outside of USA proper techniques are used all the time" Which is stupid as hell, comparing the striking of MMA fighters to Dutch or Thai kickboxers.

  • @chiconspiracy OK, sorry

  • @chiconspiracy Cro Cop, alistair overeem, fedor (watch the GP against cro cop he can kick ass) Cung le etc..

  • @chiconspiracy probaly because a kickboxer > a boxer any day :)

  • @chiconspiracy You must be retarded if you think Dutch or Thai fighters don't know how to low kick like this...

  • @philchangster

When the fuck did I ever say that? All I said was foreign mma fighters can't kick this well normally, in response to fleshoftheworld making the dumbass comment that only "USA fighters" can't do it.

  • @chiconspiracy lol your retarded

  • @nww135

    "You're"

    Fixed that for you chief.

  • @chiconspiracy thanks lol

  • @chiconspiracy

I AGREE. to @fleshtheworld. Ive trained with Alves. The real deal.

  • @chiconspiracy In Holland there isn't ppor boxing. Poor wrestling...

  • Comment removed

  • @yassigole

What are you on about? I was replying to stupid post about American MMA athletes not kicking as well as KICKBOXERS. I could say why doesn't a Dutch come to the UFC and fight for far more money than he'd make in Holland?

  • @chiconspiracy they don't kick nearly as well as amateur muay thai teen competitors. it's nothing wrong with that. it is what it is. i get sick of us Americans thinking we're great at every fucking thing...AND WE'RE NOT. That's a damn fact.

a dutch wouldn't come to the UFC because the racist or prejudice ass people that view the ufc (the target demographic) will never consider a non-white, non-american their hero. for the record...ufc fighters don't make as much as k-1 fighters

  • @doctorsizzle

I never said America was the best at everything. I never said America had the best Muay Thai... My initial comment was against the stupid ass assertion that only Americans can't use "proper technique" which is stupid as hell. Dutch wouldn't come to the UFC? Hardonk isn't Dutch? One of MMA's pioneers, Bas Rutten, isn't Dutch?

Your comment about UFC fans never having a "non-white, non-american" as their hero is utterly stupid. Anderson Silva? Shogun Rua? GSP? Lyoto Machida?

  • @chiconspiracy i agree with your previous boxing salary comment. k-1 fighters fight more often than ufc fighter and promotional monies are bigger.

many american's have shitty kicking...hell...europeans that compete overseas have shitty kicking. we're both boxing based. which would explain why buakaw wiped them all out.

of course we'll have a diverse belt holders...the point IS WE AMERICAN MEDIA DO NOT PROMOTE THEM. anderson silva a hero? please people still think he isn't PfP

  • @doctorsizzle

So..that's why almost every American pfp ranking system has Anderson Silva at number 1 or 2? And Fedor was in the top 3 until he basically stopped fighting anyone decent, and finally dropped after his loss to Werdum.

K1 fighters fight more often, but they really do make less from the fighting itself than UFC fighters do. Even worn out guys like Hughes make 200,000, and that's BEFORE promotional money. The elite of K1 could only dream of making that much for a non-title fight.

  • @chiconspiracy 2cont. ...they still don't think he's PFP material. they'll quickly claim GSP before anderson silva.

i will not say that ALL americans are prejudice...that would be stupid and illogical. BUT it is equally stupid as hell to think that there isn't prejudice in this sport and with it's viewers.

hell, it's been that way since they opened the doors to Blacks in sport.

i mean these guys have belts, but you don't see them on the front of the magazines. Silva..once.

    TFIUWThat?

  • @chiconspiracy 2cont. furthermore, with how we americans do business...we'll get you over here and then slap a contract that states you can't fight anywhere else and we'll only sign you up for 1 to 2 fights per year. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT, SIR?

i train in mma and have been watching and studying this combat sport since ufc#1. many of us watch k-1, pride, and numerous other combat competitions, if accessible. so if a person's knowledge of mma doesn't go past most recent events...

  • @chiconspiracy 3. cont. then...why even comment. in the united states we are still very biased. in japan, for instance...sure they would love to have a japanese champ...if not, well they'll surely route for you if you're from croatia, usa, brazil, etc. they LOVE the sport...not the face of the sport.

ufc made all that shit about fedor vs brock...they would've gotten fedor and never marketed him. shit, they're doing that to all the current champs.

  • @doctorsizzle

Right, that's why Fedor got HUGE cheers when he fought the AMERICAN coleman in Las Vegas. That's why Crocop got HUGE cheers when he transferred to the UFC.

Yes, the Japanese are great fans, they are more polite and respectful than anyone else. I like how they are quiet until it is appropriate to cheer. But to say Americans are the worst would be stupid. Have you seen any Sanshou vs Muay Thai matches? The Chinese and Thai fans are terribly biased.

  • @chiconspiracy coleman is an ass...everyone knows that. crocop is a legend...that's like not getting aroused when Michael Jackson comes to your town.

yes, the chinese can be extremely biased. thai fans...well there were a few dutch, american, etc. fighters that they came to favor. ramon dekkers, for instance...

  • @chiconspiracy 5. cont. if your ass isn't white, they're not going to promote you. brock held his belt for 5 or 6 defenses. on a cover of a video game. forrest griffith is now considered an undercard fighter...on a cover of a video game. as a matter of fact ALL the video games feature a white fighter. ufc 2009 featured GSP on the Canadian release.

this is how FUCKED UP WE ARE...ufc sudden impact video game 2004 featured phil baroni...who lost in 2004 and had a record of half wins/loses

  • @chiconspiracy 6cont. so THATS why many fighters will not bring their ass here in the us to fight. not enough competition, weak ass payroll (in 2004 fighter payroll well under 1million, what's the payroll in 2011? LOL! laughable im sure).

if you're not white or non-american...they will not promote you. Anderson silva made history IN UFC for defending his belt...something his competitors can't do. you don't see his face anywhere.

We're fucked up in the head and if you can admit that...

  • @doctorsizzle

What do K1 fighters get paid? What do Lumpinee champs make? Fucking chump change.

Top K1 fighters only make decent pay if they win the GP at the end of the year. ONLY the top guys get anything half-decent in pay. MMA's star athletes make more money than K1's. A lot of the top tier guys make 200,000 for an average fight, much better than k1.

Find a UFC event in 2011 that didn't top 1 million. And if you're so concerned with money, BOXING blows both out of the water.

  • @chiconspiracy you're right about difference in pay. however, ufc fighters should've been making that kind of income the total purse is now looking better...i agree.

at the same time...in mma your ass isn't fighting as often as you need to.

  • @chiconspiracy for sure bro GOOD comment man

  • @chiconspiracy Yea' that's half true. Thailand has amazing fighters not so great in boxing but they do the job, Holland has amazing kickboxers they are good boxers too and most of the MMA fighters aren't americans, they are usually from Holland, Japan, Brazil and even Russia..

  • @marintoss

You think there are MORE good mma fighters from Holland or Russia than America? Are you kidding me? Brazilians yes, but Holland? no... Is there even a Dutch mma fighter in the top 20 of any weight class aside from Overeem?
