My idiotic brother has tried everything to get into the GB Paralympics team- he sees it as his only way to sporting success.
First he claimed he was partially-sighted for football (crap), then faked a brain injury by staggering around the track & slurring his speech in a frankly offensive manner.
Now he’s taken to competing in any sport that will have him with a ball-gag in his mouth- his claimed ‘disability’ being ‘sex addiction’. He may actually succeed in this- the whole thing’s a joke.
His max velocity is no better than non-amputee athletes. He takes 44 steps in his last 100m that is no different than other 400m runners. Bolt runs less than 38 steps in last 100m of 200m races. Bolt tends to run 1.5 steps less per 100m than rest of the sprints world. Until it's proven his blades can spring him forward better than a natural foot he is alright in my book.

For all the pros and cons on the guy, I would say it all averages out. The fact that he is running suggest they feel he has no advantage and he should be permitted to run any race his time qualifies him for. He is running with weighted legs on his knee joints, no calfs to absorb the shock and feet to push against the ground how is that an advantage? If he had so much spring he would be the fastest person alive. If it was such an advantage white people would have figured this out long ago and would be the fastest sprinters by now.
