  • THIS IS JEFF'S DADDY!!!

  • I have this record framed and hanging on my wall in my office in Pascagoula. Good old fashioned song. Like it

  • @rdoss8 That is awesome hope you have a great night.

  • I live in Long Beach, Ms. I knew Lee Cole when he lived here. Lee invited me and two friends of mine to perform this song with him at pre-game festivities at Tulane Stadium. Lee strapped his guitar on and the song played on the public address system. He lip sinced his part and the three of us lip sinced the Jordanaires part. There were 83,000 fans in the staduim. We had sideline passes for the games.

  • @6036rebs Hey. who is this? I'm Lee's youngest son Jeff. Write me back and let's chat! I'm in Destin Florida.

  • @sweetpower56 I knew your dad from the early 70's. Your house was at the corner of South Burck and 4th or maybe

5th. I just looked at a picture of him sitting on a couch with 2 Saints players when we were all at a party in the summer of 1971. We need to talk, but not on YouTube.

  • Horrid song, so glad we have Rappers, Jazz Singers, R&B Singers and all the real good talent loving the Saints enough to make a ton of Anthem Songs so good it makes other teams really really Jealous.

  • @dninc This song sold over 750,000 copies.... Horrid all the way to the bank!

  • sweetpower56, you know damn well ain't nobody's going to believe that, provide a link, I SERIOUSLY doubt you can, i doubt you can even find his stuff anywhere, if he sould close to a million records you'd best believe they'd be circulating somewhere at least on bidding sites, so go allocate a link to your claim and shut us up, til then this is just some more backwoods crap that nobody but backwoods people would put on.. LMAO@ 750,000.. Over exaggerate much? PULEEEASSEEE..

  • @dninc lee cole is my grandpa.... i would know that he sold over 750,000 copies,, you can ask my dad if you want to if you dont believe me.

  • @dninc I'm not trying to argue. You certainly have a right to your opinion. This artist is my father and now that he has passed, I own the song. I'm just saying that this is a BMI registered song and the only song to date that has ever been endorsed by a pro team AND the NFL. Sure things have changed since those days, but the fact is the record label was "Saints" records. We sold actually closer to 800,000. It's just a legacy dude, so chill out! Besides this posting is from someone I don't know.

  • So that being said obviously you can find it out there!

  • Oh and by the way... The back up singers are The Jordanaires.. Ring any bells.. (Elvis)! And the horn section is the Danny Davis and The Nashville Brass, Recorded at RCA Studio B, which is one of the most famous studios in reording history! Still I have no problem with your opinion!

Sweetpower56 is my son. It's not nice to call children liar's! Especiall when it come to their own family!

  • @dninc This is a classic style song unlike that rap crap which makes no sense. New Orleans was founded on Dixie/Jazz music so if you find this ballad offensive, than you must hate NO. And I highly doubt other teams are jealous of any songs sung about NO. Your rediculous!

  • @karenh1127 AMEN BRO! I hate rap and anything related to it.

  • LOL!!! I forgot all about this one. Got a reeeeeal good feeling about this season and it has nothing to do with the 3 preseason wins. Something is just "different".
