I truely say wing chun is one off the best around. yes wing chun as'nt got style to most people but it those have speed and power. Most kung fu is all fancey roundhouse kicks upper cuts etc. thats why wing chun keep there feet on the ground and go direct punch and kicks. but truly i respect all kung fu. check out my Sifu Austin Goh. on youtube. the lineage off my wing chun gose from Ip man Lee Shing and my Sifu Austin Goh.

If you want to be successful against a groundfighter, you need to train groundfighting. There's nothing magical about BJJ, Judo etc, it's merely that very talented strikers may be complete novices in those areas so they tend to get wrecked.

If there was a culture that ONLY did ground fighting and never did striking, it would be the reverse-very talented groundfighters would get destroyed by mediocre strikers. It's merely an experience thing.

Yes, you're pretty fast on delivery but the recoil and subsequent delivery is slow because of you longer limbs. So your advantage would be reach, and Master Wong's physical advantage is a good shell-type defense and quick counter attack. Once he opens up your guard he'll put you on your back swiftly. I would recommend that unless your initial attack is most fierce and an intended k.o.,rely more on counter opportunities, which require you to be on defense and redirecting his force.U can do it!
