  • Pollution

  • I really like Bangladeshi people :/ I hope things get better for their country.

  • i don't know h ow but we have to do something about this...

  • this is what happens when a country doesn't take care of its own environmental problems. Don't expect western countries to come and help..be independent and take care of your own problems.

  • Look how some people are living in this world.

  • heres cool thing stop swimming in it

  • That is some very nasty water.

  • This is just disheartening. There are just too many people living to get the message across to. By the time you do there are another 4 billion to teach. And just because you teach them doesn't mean they will learn or care. This planet is just doomed. America is no better. Our rivers aren't far off from this.

  • :(

  • this is very scary wat is wrong with people...people,come live in AMERICA>>

  • Both India and China is bad so much for that Million dollar Christmas tree.

  • with all technology.. why can't we figure this out? we can sure figure out how to kill...

  • Oh shit!!! How can they swim in their sewage? It is so disgusting... I am gonna vomit :P

  • Pretty nasty.

  • des conchons

  • We make their underwear..their wife's bra...pigment of those pollutes our rivers

  • These white bastards don't show that WE HANDLE THEIR DIRTY JOBS...How many chemical, leather processing plants do the Western shemale nations operate?

  • shalaa abainchod Youtube e kutta haga, bosti, garbage eidi uthas ken white magir po

  • There's no use blaming each other. All we can think about is NOW, and the future. Urgent plans must be taken to clean up the goop first as well as educating the people responsible for the pollution. The poor people, who don't get enough money to buy proper clothes and cover their genitals won't give a shit about hygiene, its unheard of to them and it's not their fault. LOOK AT THIS for God's sake and all the rest of the world cares about is Lindsay Lohan's sexuality or something

  • @mahbo22d Thank you so much. I loved your comment.

  • overpopulation and over corruption will destroy Bangladesh, OH Allah save us all.

  • We want pollution free Bangladesh.

  • @MrAfzalafzal007 get rid of ur dirty goverment 1st

  • Oh shit!!! I wonder how the fuck do they swim in this so dirty river!!! It's so disgusting!!!

  • How can anyone live like this?!

  • These people live like pigs, Darwinism at its best!

  • no offense to indie ppls but you guys have rlly bad hygiene

  • this could have been stoped if the countries who have problem with population growth had put a restriction one child per parents a long time ago.

popluation growth is the key to every pollution .

  • @garioldwin it is sort of a hard decision to regulate peoples families due to the issues it creates like in china with people killing off baby girls and stuff but I agree at this point it is necessary. The problem is that in south asian countries their gov't's cant enforce it anyway. World population is in my opinion the greatest issue today... in the next decade it is supposed to rise by at least 50% which is fucking absurd!!!

  • @skanky87 world population is not the biggest issue, china is the biggest example, it is the fastest growing nation, and in 50 years it will be a developed country statistically projected, and become the worlds most richest by GDP and powerful nation all due to the power of population. Bangladesh has high population, but low productivity, imagine the productivity is increased 10 times , where will it be???

  • @skillcentre Doesn't China have a lot of environmental issues though? What use is a country's wealth if there are problems in the environment? Think about the Tsunami and Earthquake in Japan this year, and Japan is a rather wealthy country, isn't it?

  • @garioldwin i highly agree. one child policy one way control control this problem. a little recycling wouldn't be a bad idea also.

  • suck my sylheti balls.

  • You are very lucky, why, because you are not considered the most polluted, the most dirtiest river in the world, is the representative of Blacksmith Institute not going to your place, please visit the channel of ToughLovePhilippines and see basura ni nonoy!

  • i know what they should do..

all the towns people should burn the factories.... and try to take motor ships with nets and scoop it all up..

then wait about a month or two and the water will have time to recycle itself through the atmosphere and renew the health of the water

instead of burning they can actually clean up the trash and throw it back at the factories that so called make it.. or dump it inside

  • this is realy sad

  • fuck them!

  • Why are people so stupid?

  • ...als sich dieses fenster zu dem film über umweltverschmutzung öffnete, kam zuerst eine werbung für ein müllermilch gesöff in einer plastikverpackung. schon skuril und erschreckend dreist zugleich!

    fuck the wegwerfgesellschaft !!!

  • really sad, this.

  • I like how people address problems and give no real solutions...

  • I've traveled in the 3rd world, and I know a lot of Western nations have chemical and mining and other industrial operations that pollute rivers there, BUT all the trash I see floating in the river is thrown in by locals! It's a 2 part problem, and everyone needs to work to find a solution.

  • It's not that easy. Bangali people are slave of their habits, and not to mention some of the most ignorant people of the Earth, can't really blame them, they are just busy trying to make a living. On the other hand, the government of Bangladesh is corrupt and inefficient, they will never address these problems.

  • Are those kids too stupid to realize that they should NOT be playing in that water...

  • they're only kids, they're also grown in that area. the people who need to tell them its bad are their parents.

  • @rwjscaper probably yes. Are you gonna go and teach them about it or do you just like sharing your negativity with others?

  • why don't this idiots stop polluting the water

  • the earth will shake us off like fleas

  • yup

  • That's good! make more babies.

  • eww there swimming in it :o i could never do that

  • id die.... india probably. really poor all the computer waste go there

  • Good. We wouldn't want any rivers to go on thinking that we're gonna tolerate the living-ness of inanimate objects. Show that body of water how it's done, damnit!

    [sarcasm ftw]

  • Hey people, just look at the video and learn don't judge...but if you want to condem then go-on and be a judge.

  • the indians are so retarded. no offense to anyone out there but COME ON all they care about is "NO EATING COW" "COW SACRED" come on guys grow up cows are not gods

  • this is bangladesh.

  • Bangladeshes major religion isn't hinduism, but its Islam. Many cows are slaughtered and eaten. Not worshiped... thats india.

  • and they say America pollutes? Please, I'd swim in any river here before getting in that river.

  • And people hate America because they are born into doing so, they're born into believing that we're all dumb, dirty, fat, ignorant and that our country is the mother of war.

Well, uneducated people are born into believing that. I've never met an intelligent person with such crazy beliefs about America or the world.

Intelligent people, though, of course have the advantage of using their brain to come to a logical conclusion for themselves, rather than let everyone else decide who they hate.

  • WTF??? why do people do this shit ??? just knock it off wtf ...

  • O-M-G what day did this happen i never heard of this diease!!!you can see all the junk in the water in ocean's (DAWG)this is SAD!!is this crap over or still going on blanadesh??(subscirbe me or comment please)

  • that is nasty

  • i believe that when countries ignore regulations and pollute on massive scales such as this with no consideration but to the advancement of their nation that it is a crime against humanity. Just like an unfit mother, that government is obviously not a fit parent and its kids need to be put into foster care. It may be "their" country but we all only share "ONE WORLD"

  • and look around the rivers in the US, like the St Lawerence River in upstate NY, borders Canada, you can see the bottom in many places in that river cause the water is so clear... but yet we pollute the Earth..... the other countries pollute we just try to clean the whole damn mess!!

  • I believe we are the ones polluting... not the rivers... but the atmosphere. We (plan to) build Skycrapers... Towers... Houses... more then any other country. What do we do to keep ourselves warm during the winter, and cold during the night?.. Conditioning and fires. These send more pollution then cars. Because of buildings in New York... New Yorkers' can't see the stars... space... or anything in the night sky. Same with China, and India. Truely now... we are the ones polluting the Earth.

  • erors1057, I wish your claim were true that the US ships its trash to poor countries. We have much human waste with which we need to purge our great nation, such as those who falsely believe that the US is at fault for polluting other nations. The worst polluters in history have been the communist nations and the poorest nations. A thriving, responsible economy such as that of the US for the last three decades is the cleanest on Earth.

  • i beg to differ. you've been brainwashed by western media. do try to listen to other people's opinions with an open mind and do some research before making some...baseless and ignorant claims.

  • Has he been brainwashed to believe that or have you been brainwashed to believe that he has been brainwashed?

It goes both ways here buddy and every single human being in every single developed nation is guilty of pollution. We're all to blame, not just the US.

If you believe that the US is the worst, or the ONLY prime factor here, then you are indeed the brainwashed one.

  • dhaka is not in india dumbass

  • Sad sad :/

  • What was the point of that lady washing her laundry in that filthy water?

  • This is very sad.

  • anti socialist policy ,(socialist =social responsible )

  • wtf?!?!? The United States has some of the Cleanest waterways in the world. Have you ever stepped foot outside the US? China is incredibly dirty....Russia is a mess.....Mexico is dirty, poor and nasty....France is filthy. Step out in the countryside and it is dirty.

Your naive if you think socialism equals social responsibility.

  • your discribing most of the people from the UAS i'v comunated with , Dirty ,poor and nasty , ,,,,,,

  • you claim you are from Australia....yet your English is poor.

  • and i give a fuck ,

  • good English man

  • That really sucks :(

  • Profit is always more important than human safety. It's getting like that in the United States. Florida just approved offshore drilling just 10 miles from beaches. They don't care. Every hurricane will be oil spills. They really don't care.Drill! Baby! Dril!

  • Why do you hate America?

  • India has a horrible overpopulation problem. Maybe it's not such a bad thing since they don't practice birth control.

  • If it kills fish, it will kill kids.

  • Don't you get it? That's what the government WANTS!

  • lols

  • Disgusting. Hopefully it won't be too many years until we will gain the technology to clean the world's water.

  • This is horrific. Something has to be done. It's hard to believe this is even real because here, in the US, you'd be hard pressed to see anything like that. You know why? We are always sending our trash over seas for other poorer countries to deal with. That really disturbs me. We need to figure out a way to reduce waste significantly and do so immediately.

  • well is actually because its not cost effective for a developing economy such as Bangladesh to treat their chemical waste. In order to maintain competitive and affordable prices in which the population can afford. The US really has nothing at all in any way shape of form to do with Bangladesh

  • I would argue, using your own logic, that the US is very involved with Bangladesh. If you are saying that capitalist economic policies have created a world in which it is too costly for some nations to develop effective, safe waste removal, then the US indeed has something to do with this situation; the US is the one pushing these policies onto the rest of the world. Be that as it may, the US does, in fact, send tons of garbage overseas and it is extremely likely we've dumped in Bangladesh.

  • We don't send human waste to other countries. The reason India is awash in their own filth is because of overpopulation and lack of infrastructure. It isn't because the 'horrible' U.S. of A is sending it's trash to them. You don't see this crap in Western Europe or Japan either. You know why? Infrastructure. Hell, even the Romans had a sewer system.

  • This isn't about India it's Bangladesh. Anyway, I wasn't saying that human waste is sent (although I'm sure it has been at least a few times) but that tons of garbage from the US is sent to poorer countries for them to deal with. It seems you are missing the point here. The problem isn't really from human waste (though that does exacerbate this issue) it's that too much waste in general is being produced and tons of chemical waste is being pumped into the river. Yes, they have a sewer system

  • The video said clearly that the waste came from industrial sources along the river.

  • You argument that states capitalist economies have made it difficult for emerging economies such as Bangladesh to emerge and develop is very true and I agree there.

However the US would never dump in Bangladesh. It is not economically efficient to dump out wastes in a country as geographically distanced as Bangladesh. If their true goal is to maximize profits, they would not be doing so by dumping in this region.
