I have a cannabis TREE its the strain Bubblegum..I,ve been growing it for 3 months its about 3 metres high and has lots of foliage..its definately female..I know my plants but I,ve never grown one this big before ..I,m giving it bloom to help the buds (they,re not quite buds yet) but does anyone know how long this tree will take or give me ANY tips on growing it ...
Be it a 4 inch plant or a tree the flowering time is predetermined by the genetics by a given host seed or clone. A clone is a genetics copy of the mother with a few modular changes to keep the one plant original. This is why we see such different plants from the same mother. Each cut determines allot at the hormonal level.
Kick over photosynthesis 12-12 lighting, keep in mind do to the maturity of the plant it will not stretch as much as a little 3 footer or so..... Basically
Prepare for a slight jump in vigorous growth as they transform through photosynthesis. The leaves will also help determine your flowering time. If real skinny flowering time will be longer for its a staiva or a sativa hybrid that's sativa dominant and would take 70-90 days flowering time! If wide broad leaves you have an Indica or an indica hybrid which have average an average flowering time of 60-70 days which is why you see Indica variety's sold in dispensaries!

@xprezitgmail i would dedicate the light and ballast on a 20 amp circuit whether 120 or 240 volt 8.3 amps @120 v but you could save alot of electricity by tapping it for 240 v @ 4.1 amps ...its kind of like a motor tap where youll see multi tap voltages its just higher voltage less amps you could branch your light with fans pumps etc but never more than a 20 amp circuit on 12 wire or a 15 amp on 14 wire ....nice grow good luck
I grow in a freinds shed of mine, it cost us about 100$ to set it up, all you really need to grow bomb weed is a couple flourecent lights, a good fan, about 2 rolls of tin foil, and 3 rolls of duck tape, and a large amount of cardboard boxes. Also its a good idea to invest in a good lock on your grow room door. we bought a large deadbolt and reframed the door . we currently have 8 plants on the grow 3 of which are about 4 foot tall. anyways this all cost us 100$ or less.
@Jason0930 Your right tin foil will create hot spots, that why I used to gigantic cardboard boxes to put the tin foil down smoothly. Also Tin foil isn't that light reflective : (. I'm going to use white Bristle Board or something like that next year.

What is your take on the new LED grow lights out on the market now? It seems that there are many different colour temp and wavelength types out and from a lot of different comments on the net there seems to be a lot of mixed results. Can LED lights be used for hydro? The main reason I am looking into LED lights is because of the power usage of the sodium and HPS lights.

Freaking eco grow ballast,,, ! lol, yeah pretty helpful video all and all. I would offer my two cents but people are very touchy when it comes to dope grow set ups. Total cost of that room is around 1,300 bucks minus the electrical work give or take. For the two lights that is...I imagine you are ripping the electricity off..
Ok im totaly confused now I thought you just needed to exchange the air in the room so the plants can get fresh air , you need to pump air away from your lights ? My grow room is going to be starting with flourescent bulbs so I dont think they put out so much heat I need to do whatever you are doing with your exhaust and lights , and since they will need to be LOW I dont think I would be able to anyway .
boost your lights....if you're using cfl switch to hps for flowering instead...or if ur already using a 400 watt...change to a 600 or 1000....but watch out for heat
yes, there r chemicals in the smoke that isnt exactly good for ur plants, but it wont kill them, the benfits from the co2 in the smoke out weigh the effects of the pollutants....exactly how clean do u think the air is to start with??
how ever clean the air is depends on where you live. i saw a study where they gave plant matter nicotine extract and the plant died, so im only going on what i saw.
a few drop of nicotine is extremely poisonous, extract is far more concentrated than what a cigarette contains. one drop of nicotine diluted with 5 gallons of water would probsbly still kill a plant, whats in th some is far different from the extract...im not saying cigarette smoke is the best way to add co2, probably one of the least efficient, none the less its benifits out weigh the negative affects

This is why it is called a cheap room, I never said this is the only equipment to use rather its a cheap room and the equipment I use and I can afford.
So better hoods (reflectors) LOL what about better air sealed, better soil, hard pails better than soft, MH better than HPS for veg, putting ballasts outside the room to reduce the heat, using better fans or hard ducking instead of soft.
Its called an old ballast many of the older 1000w HPS ballasts sound like that!
Newer digital basalts like I have as well make no noise and produce basically no heat.
As stated in the video we are aware of the ballast and sound it takes nothing from the safety?

I could put a casing around it for noise as some old school growers but with upgrades coming the noise is no new news for me man rather a pointed fact from the video!
I don't think the Ballast should sound like that if it's set up correctly.. I've had Electrical and Magnetic ballasts and they only made so much noise when they weren't set correctly.

40 amp breaker on 3 15A receptacles that's dangerous and illegal. You should be having at most 20A with 12 guage copper with seperate breakers for each receptacle. and you should be using hospital grade or at least specification/commercial grade not residential grade receptacles.
A 40 amp breaker does not dictate how many 15 amp breakers are behind it.A 1000 watt light is under 10 amps so a 15 amp breaker is fine.If the outlets are rated at 15 amps they are fine to.Great set up and SAFE.
actually its not safe because when you're pulling more than 15 amps to one outlet and you're using 14 guage wiring, you're going to over heat the insulation and could cause a fire. the purpose of a breaker is to trip when too much current goes through so you dont damage the devices and cause a fire. a 40amp breakers need 8gauge cables, and if i can recall these are typically used for ranges running 240 volts.
I have been a local 3 union electrician working out of NY for over 25 years 14 guage wire is rated at 15 amps so if you drew more than 15 amps the breaker would blow.Why would you pull more than 15 amps when jasons lights only draw just under 10?PS Jason if you need any electrical advice feel free to ask.Peace

We had a good friend in TO do the intro thus I personally did not pick the music rather it is hard to find good legal music to use as in Royality Free music.

I don't think anybody puts out as many videos in the medical cannabis movement than you Jason. On top of it your ill, my hat's off to you brah! This is true however light movers are hard to install and cost thus counter the title of the video.
I do agree that light movers are betters for even light distrubution however cost effective.

Freaking eco grow ballast,,, ! lol, yeah pretty helpful video all and all. I would offer my two cents but people are very touchy when it comes to dope grow set ups. Total cost of that room is around 1,300 bucks minus the electrical work give or take. For the two lights that is...I imagine you are ripping the electricity off..

Ok im totaly confused now I thought you just needed to exchange the air in the room so the plants can get fresh air , you need to pump air away from your lights ? My grow room is going to be starting with flourescent bulbs so I dont think they put out so much heat I need to do whatever you are doing with your exhaust and lights , and since they will need to be LOW I dont think I would be able to anyway .

boost your lights....if you're using cfl switch to hps for flowering instead...or if ur already using a 400 watt...change to a 600 or 1000....but watch out for heat

you dont have to have HPS, but it will give you harder dense buds, when it flowers compared to MH well it does for white widow strain IDK...

Correct MH for Vegetative growth and HPS for flowering is standard lighting protocol for the change over at photo period.
I run duel spectrum as a test for compression using MH and HPS additionally I have a friend who add fluorescents for a further cross spectrum.
Study and research on growing it what we do here at CinC

a few drop of nicotine is extremely poisonous, extract is far more concentrated than what a cigarette contains. one drop of nicotine diluted with 5 gallons of water would probsbly still kill a plant, whats in th some is far different from the extract...im not saying cigarette smoke is the best way to add co2, probably one of the least efficient, none the less its benifits out weigh the negative affects

No you can flower under Metal Halide as well or even fluorescents.
Fluorescents on their own will reduce your final yield!

This is why it is called a cheap room, I never said this is the only equipment to use rather its a cheap room and the equipment I use and I can afford.
So better hoods (reflectors) LOL what about better air sealed, better soil, hard pails better than soft, MH better than HPS for veg, putting ballasts outside the room to reduce the heat, using better fans or hard ducking instead of soft.
I could go for hrs thx for the input

Its called an old ballast many of the older 1000w HPS ballasts sound like that!
Newer digital basalts like I have as well make no noise and produce basically no heat.
As stated in the video we are aware of the ballast and sound it takes nothing from the safety?
Thus set up right? explain?
I could put a casing around it for noise as some old school growers but with upgrades coming the noise is no new news for me man rather a pointed fact from the video!

I don't think the Ballast should sound like that if it's set up correctly.. I've had Electrical and Magnetic ballasts and they only made so much noise when they weren't set correctly.

40 amp breaker on 3 15A receptacles that's dangerous and illegal. You should be having at most 20A with 12 guage copper with seperate breakers for each receptacle. and you should be using hospital grade or at least specification/commercial grade not residential grade receptacles.

A 40 amp breaker does not dictate how many 15 amp breakers are behind it.A 1000 watt light is under 10 amps so a 15 amp breaker is fine.If the outlets are rated at 15 amps they are fine to.Great set up and SAFE.

actually its not safe because when you're pulling more than 15 amps to one outlet and you're using 14 guage wiring, you're going to over heat the insulation and could cause a fire. the purpose of a breaker is to trip when too much current goes through so you dont damage the devices and cause a fire. a 40amp breakers need 8gauge cables, and if i can recall these are typically used for ranges running 240 volts.

I have been a local 3 union electrician working out of NY for over 25 years 14 guage wire is rated at 15 amps so if you drew more than 15 amps the breaker would blow.Why would you pull more than 15 amps when jasons lights only draw just under 10?PS Jason if you need any electrical advice feel free to ask.Peace
