It is so sweet to see the adoring way Joel just stares at her, like he is so proud of her! And he should be! It seems as though she is the only one doing the actual steps! I like to buy shorts like those at Academy. They are the Soffee Cheerleading shorts, I used them under my daughters dresses and skirts and they are only like 5 or 6 dollars. Hope this helps!
Not sure if it has been suggested but in Arizona there's a dance shop called "Dee's Dance wear". They have a wide selection of dance things. they may have something for you!
We don't use socks with tap, b/c they are required to wear tights and thats just what we use with the taps too. Sometimes we do footless tights so if we do we just dont do anything on the feet.
@xxxjoelpolexxx your right, tatum has never complained when she wears the footless ones so i never really thought about it, but they have never been red or anything either. We don't do the footless ones that often, she found some with rainbows on them and had a heart attack over them (she obsessed with rainbows). With the tight you souldn't have that big of a problem with it though, Tatums ballet shoes always stink!! LOL!
I know I've already commented but I just remembered when I was a kid doing tap, I remember that you could buy taps separate from the shoes, like for replacement etc. Maybe if you can't find her size you could just get some girls dress shoes that fit her like mary janes or something and buy some taps from the dance shop and just screw them on yourself or have a shoe repair man do it for you. It might work out cheaper like that also you never know. By the way, she looks too cute in that outfit :)

(I still have mine tap & ballet shoes from back there) My Mom has them, and I wanted my daughter to wear mine but my Mom is an evil witch and hates her grandchildren so she won't give them to Jacelyn. Would have been sentimental though to be able to give mine to my daughter.

Kmart usually had leotards and stretchy shorts for a cheap price. ask the dance instrustor they usually can tell you were to find stuff at a good price.
I don't know what your town has, but our Target's, walmart, kohls, places like that have ballet leotards, and as far as tap shoes and ballet shoes, they have them at Payless. As far as the tap outfits, i would think that the same places would have those too. Hope that helps! :) She is adorable btw! :)
@MelB0610 We checked out Khols and they didnt' have anything. We checked at like Ross & TJMaxx too (just b/c it's near our Khols). I haven't tried Target or Walmart, I need to. I don't know if there is a payless around here (still laerning the area). but that's a great idea!

@AmyLizz It was going to be just the 2 of them going to this class, while Kacen & I had an adoption ceremony to go to for a friend....then it turns out the ceremony was 30 minutes AFTER her class so we were able to go too. When I told Joel, he was all sad.....lol He said he was happy at the thought he could just go by his self w/ her, just the 2 of them, daddy & daughter. I figured he wouldn't have wnated to, like most guys are like that's for moms u know? HE was all for it!
If your looking for cheap basics, we have a shop in Australia similar to Walmart and the leotards (sp) and simple wrap skirts etc are in the school clothes section, like with the shirts, pants, skirts and other uniform basics. Thats if you have a school section cause your public schools don't use uniforms do they?? (from what I've seen on tv lol) Maybe you have a sportswear section, if they go small enough for her. My next option would be ebay or etsy.
@ash12787 Some are a bit snobbish....like they don't want to tell you, or they've been in the class so long they just have their own 'clique' u know what I mean? The dance business she's taking classes from sells them, but they are out of all her stuff and don't get shipments in often in her size. (not cute stuff ever...it's all basic)
