No, You can cleary tell its catherine of aragon, the face looks excalty the same as other potraits and by Katherine Parrs time few women wore Gable hoods anymore.. But its okay! common mistake.
I've seen very few tributes to all the Tudor legends liky yours-and thus far yours are my favorite because you psynchronized the portraits so beautifully with gorgeous music that evokes the era-and makes one feel as if one were there-at the Tudor court. :)
That is unfortunately what Anne Boleyn was to Mary-and Henry VIII was a hateful jerk towards her as well. Few would have come out smelling like roses. I doubt either you nor I would have done better under and after the horrible circumastances she was subjected to in her youth and through to middle age by her Protestant younger brother. I would challenge anyone not to come out angry, bitter, and vengeful after such a life.
Too right. Mary I's rein was a bit tricky after her father had pretty much killed her mother, married Anne Bolyn, been forced to live a pretty poor life looking after Elizabeth and everything. It's only fair(ish) that she came out a *little* vengeful and full of rage.
Agreed. I have tried to put myself in her situation-I honestly believe I would have hurled myself off the nearest turret and just gotten it over with.
Tis Susato the Magnifique if I am note mistaketh!! Newe instruments make also googley (goodley!!) musicke when they doeth olde tunes!! Tis supriseth to alle, and sundrie.
Parr was as a comely lass of virtue true not a beauty By then Henry was old & unmanned 4 years Though the Catholics tried to turn him against her in the end he truly appreciated her Why she disgraced herself by marrying Seymour so soon after Henrys death I DO NOT KNOW
I know but they could have waited long enough to pretend to respect henry no one expected a woman her age to wait forever Mary never forgave her & didnt it give her evil sisterinlaw ammunition to take the jewels Henry left her & make her life as miserable as she could?
what pisses me off is the way the catholics cruelly tortured and burnt her friend,(Anne Askew) then thought Anne would be tortured for ETERNITY! E T E R N I T Y all over the fact that she didn't believe God was in a piece of bread!
Silver is saying that AoC thought she was Prettier than KP I am fairer than She! AoC said Henry like english maids with small boobs the more virginal looking the better Cleves wasnt ugly but German ways & Voluptuous figure turned him off
actually, although pictures of her are gorgous she was actually noted as ugly, Anne of Cleves argued (and is believed to be true) that Henry could not marry her cause she was uglier than anne of cleves.
I came here expecting Rick Wakeman.

Another wonderful video! What is the name of the song and the artist of this lovely piece?
mbgal07 2 years ago
The dance is called Morisque and belongs to Tielman Susato, a XVI century composer.
YeOldeTune 2 years ago
She was the best of Henry's wives, by far.

All of your Tudor tributes are wonderfully thought out-and the music you set to them-perfect. :)

Thanks. There are better Tudor vids in YouTube than mine.

I bet you'll be glad this will be the last wife for me to comment on!!!
Again, like all the rest: the pictures and the music are lovely; fantastic.
I'm quite surprised that such lovely videos existed about the wives of Henry VIII.
You've truly done a excellent job, finding music and pictures to put together. Bravo YeOldeTune.

I don't think they could have waited if she loved him. It seems she love him truly (but I have doubts about his feelings for her).

I agree. Besides, she wasn't in love with Henry, the hateful pig.
