You can sing Bingo (There was a farmer had a dog and Bingo was his name-o) to this tune, too! I also sing, "I get off work, at five o'clock, I must make sure, my doors are locked." Great job with your instruments.
@kaburto1966 Kaburto1966 (I was born in 1973, so we're pretty close), your rendition is outstanding. I think I first heard this song in 1978 when I was 5 or so.
@kaburto1966 Kaburto, I was born in 1973, so we're close in age. I first heard this in 1978 or so, when I was 5-6. Your rendition is outstanding. My personal challenge for you: With these same instruments, try playing "Bingo" (the nursery rhyme), and display it on Youtube. When a great musician plays even a kid song with sophisticated instruments, it's incredible.
@abysmalatrocious Alas, I had to leave my keyboard behind during a recent move. However, I will challenge my family to singing "Bingo" to this tune during our next camp-out. Thanks for the suggestion.
i work in a day program for adults with disabilities and i have a consumer that hums this all the time how can i get a audio copy of the song being sung to put on my phone so i can play it for her.
I'm sorry, I'm not very techie, so I don't know. : p I would probably just hold my 'phone up to the computer and record it into my camera or voice recorder. I need to learn more about these modern-day gadgets because I'm sure there are much better ways of doing this.
I don't know. I'm not much of a techie. The first thing that comes to my mind is your Internet access. Before I started using cable access, everything used to take a long time to process and that caused pauses in videos that I wanted to watch. Have you had this problem with other videos?
Bright and bouncy. Well done. It reminded me of the recording of this song, made many years ago, by Lauritz Melchior the great Danish tenor. Great zest!
That's really great. Until you mentioned it, I had not realised it was already on YouTube. Now you can see what I mean about the zest which his version shares with yours.
Ha, ha, yes it is a jolly song. Fun to belt out even if you (like me) have no range and can't carry a tune. Horrible? - Synthetic polka played by a novice and recorded with makeshift equipment. It is enough to cause a music lover to scream and run away... :)
That sounds like a very jolly camp song. You should have sung along! I did, even though I've *never* heard it before, and it sounds like it would also make a great crowd-pleasing "drinking song" in an Octoberfest setting.

I mailed them to you.

Good video, I too have rendition of Viva La Companie; actually should be Vive la Compagne; but filmer didn't understand.
My rendition points out the very serious need for affordable healthcare here in USA.
AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE IS A RIGHT! AMEN?
HEALTHCARE, NOT WARFARE! AMEN?
Amen, from that crazy folk musician who believes affordable healthcare is a RIGHT!
