This game isn't entirely bad.

For those of you who keep bashing this game & praising SC4, don't you know that there are two types of SC4 Players in the world?

The first kind are what we call Vanillists, players who play the game as it was meant, building your city whilst balancing budget.

@JuanMamaril The second kind of SC4 Players are what we in the SC4 Custom Content community call City Journal Makers. These players' goals are not "to win" the game by building mega cities with lots of money but instead they play to create beautiful cityscapes.

And in most cases they use custom ploppable buildings that let's them build on a theme they want for their cities to add to what is already present in game.

@JuanMamaril And some even go as far as using cheats so they can select a particular building from the base game & plop 'em individually for a unified look.

Now put yourself in the shoes of a CJ Maker & this game is what you'd want as it gives you every building options at the very start, no mods or cheats necessary.

@Mutu1026 to be quite honest, the color is different. The cobblestones are an unnatural red in the game by default and have odd brick sidewalks.

After you play for a certain theme, your UI, Roads will change to suit it, for example, if you have Fun City you'll UI will change to Yellowish, and roads will look like ginger bread.

A city like paris or london. is very big and be contain many parts like tourist attractions or another full of houses parks!

I (and probably all real SC fans) find this the worst SimCity to date. It's just too easy. Tilted Mill screwed too much with the original SC gameplay and removed virtually all micromanagement and other typical SC features.

Maxis should have finished Spore first and then started on a REAL and worthy SimCity 5.

SimCity Societies and City Life are the same. I have those fucking 2 games. I loved City Life but I hate there are the Group Have Nots. They show up always as you build a city, even you make a royal one. In Sim City, What i love is the buildings. You choose for yourself as it is not like City Life, The houses. What I hate about SC 5 or societies is it is too EASY , the frame rates are low, as it is said to be COMPATIBLE to my computer, and there are no sample cities. Still the two are the best.

Horrible, dreadful, Ive been to Paris, Geneva, Warsaw, and a bunch of other cities in Europe and I have seen hundreds of pictures and shows on Europe and it looks nothing like that. I love Europe, and I was only going to buy the game so I can build European cities such as Paris, Prague, Vienna, Milan, Geneva, Brussels, Stockholm, Warsaw, etc and the buildings dont look European at all. Europe actually has 2000 years of different architectural styles. The one exhibited here is 1870esque I suppose. Actually the city I live in is mostly mediaeval and baroque. atleast the city center.

But you see european cities rarely have such uniformity. This city looks american, as it only exhibits one era. Real european cities have layer on layer of different stlyes exposed. I live in one of the more eclectic cities. We have an 80s concreet office next to a 19th century woodshack next to a modern glass office next to a 60s brick appartment, all on one street.
