  • Omg this is awsome! My favourite musical with my favourite movies! Great work

  • Awesome :3

  • *love* Very well done.

  • Very Interesting. And very well done. Two of my favorite thing. Lord of the Rings and les miz. Gonna have to put this up as a favorite.

  • This entire series is brilliant. Great work. I'll certainly be sharing this with people for a long time :) Thanks!!

  • At first i was like..how the hell can you make these two things work together, and then wormtongue was right on cue and he fit the part so perfectly, and i was blown away!

  • Awesome video

  • this is SO cool i feel so nerdy for loving it so much

  • Crazy work!!!!!!!

    amazing

1 person doesn't like... Could it be your neighbourg who heard this music during 2 years? Do you work at night?

    ah ah ah

    good job!

    wil

  • How has someone combined two of my favorite things so perfectly?

  • Wow. This is really clever! Les Mis and LOTR are two of my biggest passions. To think of a "mash-up" like this is quite ingenious. I loved watching it. There are other songs/videos, too, huh? Definitely checking them out next.

  • @IsabeauMann

Yes, all the other videos for LOTr/Les Mis are finished now! Took me over two years but at last the series is finished!

  • oh,this is really awesome! well done!

  • Thank you for this video! it's epic!!!!

  • Yeah, Gimli would work well....lol, the drinking game Leggie won! Just sayin, Gandalf is an awesome cast, but I always picture the Bishop as being a bit younger....kind of like the singer in this recording! Gandalf still rocks, though!

  • True, so did I, but in the LOTR cast he fit the Bishop role the best, LOL

  • like I said.....Gandalf still rocks!

  • Well, As far as I know Bishop is supposed to be older... Not like Gandalf per se, but a bit older than Val Jean. That's my impression though. I saw the musicle here in Serbia, but haven't read the books yet

  • @insanemistosingsmore In Hugo's original book the bishop was in his 70's.

  • @StoryMing sorry 'bout that...I hadn't read the book yet. Now I have, and I know the error of my TAC believing ways.

  • @insanemistosingsmorenot meaning to sound rude, but have you read the book of Les Mis, and how Valjean describes him? He is old

  • @Chaserpeach Ok, I think I just explained to StoryMing how I made that mistake. I posted that particular comment before I read the book.....now I know better. Thank you for rubbing the past in my face.

  • @insanemistosingsmore sorry, I didn't actually see that one (it was a bit further down), sorry if I offended you

  • @Chaserpeach It's ok, I don't mind. I'm sorry I kinda snapped...was having a bad day. I suppose we can make our peace now!

  • @insanemistosingsmore yeah I understand, I can relate, but yeah, make peace (the last thing I need is more people who hate me :p)

  • @Chaserpeach Same here....I've got enough people who hate me in the 'real world,' so why make enemies on line?

  • Um, nice job on the whole series, really. this especially. I have a question/comment, though. I can't find ABC cafe/Red and Black. Have you done it yet? and if not, Legolas would be a great Courfeyrac. Him or Haldir. Whichever one you can picture as a drunk. I thought Legolas because he would be the elf closest to being Faramir's friend......since Courfeyrac was a 'friend' of Marius's.

  • Thank you for your comments on these videos!! Once in a while I will get really helpful comments from great, insightful people!

To answer your questions: I am still working on the ABC Cafe/ Red and Black.

And I do have Legolas as Courferac! I confess, I only just finish reading the unabridged Les Miserables a short while ago and am specifically assigning the students their "roles". I'm wondering about Grantaire, though. Gimli perhaps? I recall Grantaire missing most of the battle, drunk. :p

  • AMAZING!!! Love this.

  • Oh that was just brilliant. You obviously have an appreciation of both Les Mis and LOTR. Very well done indeed!

  • very well done

  • This is absolutely amazing - I am to be the Bishop in a production of Les Mis, and I really appreciated the amount of effort that went into this. good work!

  • Amazing!

My favourite part of the musical, with one of my favourite trilogies!

    <3

  • The policemen always get the awsomest background music in this.

  • @Sarchale I like to think of it as Javert's theme song. All of the melodies in Les Mis create a nice motif for each theme in the show. Valjean's Soliloquy/Javert's Suicide portray internal conflict and self-doubt.

  • I love these Le Mis/LOTR vids of yours, they're wonderful! please, keep them coming :)

  • Re: Note 4:

Hey, those guys (meaning the policeman and Champtheieu) are just ensemble parts. Double away!

    Great job. Two remarkable stories...

  • I can't get over how amazing your vids are! Please keep making them!.
