RIP Captain Broxterman and Firefighter Schira

  • so sad!

  • I just want to say that Capt. Robin Broxterman was an icon in the fire community. She was the first female capt. in the history of Colerain Fire Dept. These 2 fine firefighters can now rest knowing they answered the final call. my husband and I are both Paramedics for MedCorp Ems and he is also a firefighter for Monroe Township Fire Dept, where I am also a medic. We didnt know them personally but we do know many people who did and they will be missed.

  • and the people that lived at the house might be acused for murder because the were growning weed in the basement

  • brain is my art teachers cuzin and i know robin i seen her almost every day she had two girls one in 2nd grade and one in 4th

  • I worked with Brian at the Home Depot in Western Hills. He was a great friend and will be sorely missed. Both Brian and Robin are true heroes by every measure of the word. God bless the families and all of the firefighters out there that put their lives on the line for us every time that bell rings.

"Heroes need not speak. When they are gone, the world will speak for them".

  • R.I.P. Fallen Brother and Sister, From the Pierce Township Fire Department Engine 1. God Bless

  • Thank you for this video, I grew up in Norwood. I a volunteer firefighter / first responder you never know which call will be your last.

Most people do not understand what a family the fire service is.... if your not a member or a family member you will never the pain we ALL feel when we loss one or in this case 2 in one call.

But remember this, not matter the time or the place you needs we will all ways be there for you.

    Rest in Peace and Love.

  • To a brother and sister who've fallen doing what we all love, may you rest in peace. God bless you, and may you find eternal peace.

Thank you for posting this video. Thank you for supporting the firefighters, it meant a lot to everyone of us seeing all of you out there.

Robin and Brian, Rest in Peace.

  • Thank you Robin and Brian for the thankless job you did. You will never be forgotten.

  • Why were there so many buses?

  • taking all the FIREFIGHTERS to the cruch

  • the buses were carrying the pipers and drummers and also many of the fire fighters from other cities and countries that didnt bring engines.

  • I guess someone asked the question and that's why you answered it. The actual answer is that the buses were carrying all Colerain Township and Delhi Township firefighters and their guests. The pipers and drummers were already at the church. All other firefighters obtained their own transportation.

  • I apologize, one of my friends was one of the pipers and he said he was bussed over from the church.

  • Actually, your both correct. The charter busses carried the members and families and the FF's from other areas were transported on city busses donated by SORTA and TANK.

  • simply amazing. great video. hearing the tone drop and final call over the scanner was chilling and sad. thank you to Robin and Brian for their ultimate sacrifice.

  • I saw you across the street from me with your camera. This is a very good video to honor great Americans.
