I always thought that they hinted that Carrie met Samantha first, then Miranda, then Charlotte last.

@Cindylock They don't actually mention a year for Samantha. Just one for Charlotte and Miranda. So she still could have met Samantha first. They just implied that it was last I think for the way the scene went (other wise it wouldn't have worked as well if they had to chop and change the scenes.)
