Marilyn's appearance with Jack aired live on September 13, 1953 (his opening show of the season}. He always insisted he never had a guest star on his show until the right script was written for them, to show off their comedic talents and "chemistry" with Benny. Marilyn had it, and Jack never doubted she did. He said she was wonderful to work with, and had "a delicious sense of timing". Except for her interview with Ed Murrow on "PERSON TO PERSON" in 1955, this was her ONLY major TV appearance.
