  • Faved! I love this tune!

  • I can't believe it's been 20 years. 1991.

  • They made you sad to see them go, but it made you happy with the opening of Generations. And then there was a problem... The rest of the movie sucked.

  • Second star to the right...and straight on till morning

  • Lets Make sure that History Never Forgets the name Enterprise: Picard Out. she was a fine ship and she went on a few more missions before being decomissioned and for me she should have been a Muesum ship so that future Generations could see just how incredible the U.S.S. ENTERPRISE NCC-1701-A WAS

  • 0:56

'If I were human, I believe my response would be - go to hell!

    If I were human.'

  • I cried at Kirk's death scene in Generations....

  • @biggmorris Me, too... even though Generations was crap (although I liked it as a child).

  • what happens to a decommissioned ship, namely Enterprise A

  • @TheDEATHSTARIII It gets turned into a STARBUCKS run by Ferengii!

  • One of the best endings to a Star Trek Movie. This is one of my favorite pieces of soundtracks.

  • The music at 2:21 are the signature's of the following.

    George Takei - Sulu

    Nichelle Nichols - Uhura

    Walter Koenig - Chekov

    James Doohan - Scotty

    DeForest Kelley - Bones

    Leonard Nimoy - Spock

And William Shatner - James T.

  • I cried when I saw there signatures...it ment the end to the original cast. Thumbs up if you did too.

  • @willsco76 i didnt cry but it sure was a downer . i remember thinking didnt they still have 3 months left ?i also thought because of what kirk said that the enterprise A would get a new crew

  • @TheDEATHSTARIII I think Kirk meant the Enterprise legacy.

  • @TheDEATHSTARIII Enterprise was probably dismantled. The class of ship was outdated, and her hull had been pummeled with Torpedos.

  • @DukeNukemTheSeries She went on a few more missions before she was decomissioned

  • @MrJDW123 Not likely.

  • @MrJDW123 In fact its stated very clearly at the end of six that upon returning home she to be decomissioned.

  • @willsco76 Hell i still get misty eyed lol

  • @willsco76 You're not the only one man. The end gets me every time. :(

  • "If I were human, I believe my responce would be...go to hell."

    "If I were human." -Spock

  • "Captain's log, stardate 9529.1. This is the final cruise of the starship Enterprise under my command. This ship and her history will shortly become the care of another crew. To them and their posterity will we commit our future. They will continue the voyages we have begun and journey to all the undiscovered countries, boldly going where no man, where no one, has gone before." - Capt. James Tiberius Kirk.

  • Sad to see the Enterprise-A go.

But it was makiing way for the Enterprise-B so her ae lived on.

  • second star to the right and straight on till morning

  • Probably one of the best Trek pieces out there.

  • Second star to the right, and on 'til morning.

  • George Takei

    Walter Koenig

    Nichelle Nichols

    James Doohan

    DeForrest Kelley

    Leonard Nimoy

    and of course...

    William Shatner

  • "This is the final cruise of the starship Enterprise under my command. This ship, and her history, will shortly become the care of another crew; to them, and to thier prosperity, will we commit our future. They will continue the voyages we have begun, and journey to all undiscovered countries, boldly going where no man...where no one...has gone before."

    Chills...

  • As Q would say, All good things must come to a end!

  • This is probably the only other time besides the second film where I cry a little. You hate to see it end, but it's so powerful and when the signatures appear I always salute. And Spock's quip always lightens up the moment. What a perfect ending to such an epic saga.

  • Best ending to Star Trek ever. 5/5

  • Undiscovered country was the first proper star trek film i ever saw at the pictures when i was a kid most were just the repeats on TV, i genuinly got goosebumps when the Enterprise and Excelsior 'rode off into the sunset'

ok i know it was only the enterprise but it still looked ace

  • @NorthernStar1982 a great ending to the film, its quite moving because u dont know what will happen to either the crew or ship

  • being a bit young and thick i actually thought they were just going to fly into the star lol!

  • the ship gets scrapped and the crew part ways and kirk dies. :(

  • @MrHoppers002 then they get replaced by the Enterprise B with the guy that was in ferris bueller

  • Comment removed

  • then replaced by generations of incompetent crews/captains and crappy enterprises.

  • @TURBODORK2 i think I heard somewhere that Chekov replaces him

  • @waffleownage thats the expanded universe.

  • @MrHoppers002 Kirk becomes an admiral again. he then gets caught in the nexus and dies in 2370.

  • actually kirk remained a captain. I hated to see kirk go out like the way he did in generations.

  • @MrHoppers002 Me too...
