@WiffleBallWeekly thats the dumbest shit ive ever heard. half the reason to throw this pitch is to get people to chase out of the strike zone. it looks like it will catch the upper third of the strike zone and it breaks out of the zone.it changes the batters eye level and sets up the next pitch so now you can throw a drop ball at the same height but this time it drops low instead of high

@WiffleBallWeekly ha. actually i played high school baseball and was pretty damn good. all region 1st team in fact in a region where there were 2 teams in the top 10 in the state. when i come in from baseball practice at around 830 every night, usually after the 3 miles we run for conditioning at the end of practice after we have already had weight training i usually eat a high protein dinner and play a little call of duty before i go to bed.

I learned how to do that pitch on my own, I've known for less than a week how to do it, and im obsessed with it. Yours does have a far better rise on it, but try getting it down the middle a few times, it's hard, but I can do it 3 strikes in a row. Thanks for a few of the tips on it, ive been holding it with my midle finger on top of the holes, your way looks better. thanks.

hold it like this guy does or even along the edge of the holes (thats how i hold it) and throw it sidearm or submarine. if you think about it, it has the the same effect as a frisbee because theres less plastic on the bottom... definately make sure the ball is scuffed too, its hard to throw any kind of pitch if the ball is not scuffed

The hardest part about this pitch is controlling it.  It's easy to make it rise, but when you throw hard, you have to practice your sidearm delivery a lot to get it on target.
